The outdated but well-maintained hotel is located in the beautiful Trettach Valley, which is free of mobile communications. In addition to the games room with billiards, 🎯, table football, table tennis, there is a pool and a sauna without an outdoor area. Massage or guided e-bike or hiking tours can be booked without any problems. Breakfast with a huge selection, evening menu varied and good. Family room had 2 separate bedrooms and is great for four. Mattresses rather soft. Staff friendly. Nature is fantastic. Dogs welcome.

The location of the hotel is very nice if you like it quiet and secluded. The small lake in front of the hotel is really pretty and so is the view of the mountains. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. The dinner was mixed, the meat dishes were good, the vegetarian dishes were at best average (e.g. lukewarm cheese spaetzle in which you had to look for the cheese). We had booked an economy room. The size was ok for that. Unfortunately, we discovered that as dog owners we were put in a shabby room in which little emphasis was placed on cleanliness. Numerous cobwebs with different flies on the ceiling, a lot of dust in the gaps between the radiators and on the skirting boards. The dog nose prints of the last few furry guests on the curtains, dead flies on the bathroom window, to name a few unusual features. The 15€/night that is charged for dogs could be invested in additional curtain cleaning or something similar. I don't know what else you pay for. What was also noticeable negatively was that the radiator in the bathroom was set to 17°C and the setting was locked, which seems like a lot of austerity measures and with a maximum outside temperature of 10°C and a lot of rain, you sometimes come back from hiking wet and cold , but very inappropriate.

We wanted to book 1 room for 1 week. However, we received no response to our request. Very bad service. But there are alternatives.

If you love peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. We had a wonderful six days at elements. The room was large and spacious. The only point deducted is the very soft mattresses. The breakfast was varied. The dinner was culinary amazing 👌🏻The entire team was friendly and helpful. Our four-legged friend also felt very comfortable. Thank you for the great stay in your house☺️

Nice and quiet hotel with friendly and good service (greetings to the nice ladies and gentlemen from the restaurant/bar area 👍). Cordiality is still very important here. The food is very tasty and always nicely prepared. Here, too, the boss may help out and greet the guests personally. The hotel's facilities are top notch with pool, wellness and sauna. There is an e-bike rental and guided hiking and cycling tours. Bikes you bring with you can be stored in the garage. There are also enough sockets here to charge e-bikes.The standard room is small, but modern and nicely furnished. The rooms were cleaned every day upon request. The only point of criticism is that the rooms are a bit noisy. Otherwise we can recommend the hotel without exception.
