We are regularly in Hopfen am See and a visit to the Hotel Geiger restaurant is a must. The service is excellent and guests with dogs are also very welcome here. The restaurant is decorated seasonally and the menu is currently being supplemented with a game menu.Everything we have eaten so far has been very tasty and nothing was left to be desired. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and you can also get a daily menu for little money.Thank you for many lovely evenings, we would love to come back.

Which wasn't so good. On Sunday we wanted to go to the hotel between 1 and 2 p.m. But we didn't get a parking space.And would you have been able to get a cappuccino instead of coffee in the morning without any additional payment?Otherwise everything was great!

As always when we are on holiday in the Allgäu, a visit to the Geiger restaurant is always something special. Over the last few years, the cuisine has always been very good, always cleanly cooked and served, so some restaurants that think they represent a high standard can boast of this Cut off a slice……my wife’s saddle of lamb and my steak from the special menu were perfectly on point and buttery tender……Combined with a service that has always been and is perfect over the last few years, always attentive, calm and unobtrusive, always a friendly word, you are recognized, feel comfortable and are happy to come back, we are already looking forward to autumn...Today our visit was again as we are used to from this house, the food was again very good and the service was perfect as always……We were here again last night and as always it was very good, pleasant to see and taste that service and quality are valued and cared for here...

Location, restaurant and view of the lake and mountains from the balcony were worth the money. The only drawback for us were the terribly uncomfortable chairs on the balcony. Sitting and getting up again took a lot of getting used to.

Great location and good service. Bathroom, ...well, you could invest in that.Very good restaurant. Bad parking situation as there are not enough spaces at the house. The location right on the lake balances out a lot.

In August a week, double room for 238 € / day with breakfast. Complaints about a defective refrigerator were ignored, the elevator is turned off from 9:30 p.m., so guests with walking difficulties should make it to their rooms in good time. The balcony furniture is probably junk. The hotel has around 40 rooms and 15 parking spaces, the rest is in the public parking spaces that are free for hotel guests, very limited since parking spaces are in short supply during the day. The breakfast is 2** at best and not varied. The toaster set up there was completely unsuitable, but the staff didn't seem to be interested in it (see refrigerator above). Thursday is a rest day, then only the reception is occupied for arrivals and departures, otherwise there are only guests wandering around (no dinner). Overall, you get the impression that guests are rather annoying for the hotel.Overall, the hotel is completely overpriced and only lives from the great view over the Hopfensee. At 140 €/day you could perhaps ignore the weaknesses mentioned above, but like that, never again.

We ate there again and were very disappointed. Surf and turf without the pesto with pale shrimp skewers and the tournados that were closer to done than medium, but the biggest impudence is a ready-made potato gratin simply gratinated with cheese. The taste was okay, but nothing more. There was no reaction to the criticism from the kitchen. Service was otherwise impeccable as was the ambience. We've been coming here for years and today is probably the last time. Very unfortunate

The room was okay, but the silicone joint in the shower was covered in mold.Extremely hot.No fan, no air conditioning available.In addition, as a non-smoker you cannot ventilate if the neighbors are all smokers and smoke on the balconies!!!Very terrible.The 'breakfast buffet' is kept very small. Little choice, especially for people who rely on special features.Price-performance ratio unfortunately not okay.Far too overpriced for this performance.

In summer it gets very warm in the rooms. No air conditioning and no mosquito protection on the door or window. Everything is getting old. Joints in the bathroom slightly moldy. I'm not coming back

Beautiful view of the lake if you are lucky enough to be upstairs. On the ground floor, it feels more like a basement with no view. Certainly the room was large but that's not everything.The staff speaks no or very little English and communication was sometimes difficult. I find it hard to understand how you can work in the tourism sector and not have any knowledge of English...The breakfast, however, is very nice.But overall it's expensive...

Super location on the lake, with stunning Mountain View near train stations, bus stop in front of the door, great restaurant and breakfast buffet. Had a fabulous spacious studio. Can highly recommend hotel Geiger, and it’s dog friendly as well.

A beautiful, dog friendly hotel on the lake with mountain views. Great buffet breakfast, spacious studio with large balcony. Small fridge, safe and 2nd TV in bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Bus stop close by and short distance from the city Fuessen.

As a family with a dog, we really enjoyed the 2 days. The hotel, the room and the breakfast buffet were terrific. Very friendly staff...everything was great.We'd love to come back.
