We booked for 2 nights. The reception was friendly, our dog, who was registered, was also greeted in a friendly manner and was not only tolerated but also welcome. We even got a welcome package for our dog with treats, etc., a sign for the door of the room with a reference to the dog.Rooms were very clean and functional, unfortunately no air conditioning but at least a small room fan.Breakfast on Saturday morning with a very nice buffet, small but nice.Normally we would have given 5 stars, but the previously good impression was tarnished on the second evening. There was a public viewing on the ground floor with mostly local guests. Their children ran all over the hotel and played hide-and-seek, including on our floor.Absolute no go for a hotel. In a dormitory right next to the hotel, young people also celebrated loudly until late into the night. When we walked our dog in the evening, there were some loudly screaming young people around the hotel, probably from the neighboring dormitory. Then on Sunday morning the breakfast buffet was unfortunately not as well stocked as the first morning, especially since there was a long black hair on the croissants. On the day of departure we only saw one employee who was responsible for breakfast and reception. He was not very communicative and did not respond to manners such as good morning or goodbye. His communication was limited to asking for the room number. The hotel was probably poorly booked, we only saw one guest and there were only 3 vehicles in front of the hotel, including ours.We found it commendable that some employees are employed as part of an inclusion concept and that they fulfill their positions, some of which are responsible, very well.If the second day had been like the first we would have given 5 stars. If there is not an event taking place in the hotel and the neighboring dormitory is also celebrating, we can recommend the hotel, especially since the location on the outskirts of Bad Säckingen otherwise seems to be very quiet. It's a shame... otherwise a very well-kept house with an inclusion concept and otherwise very friendly staff, apart from the second day.

Very nice hotel, unfortunately I had a room facing the loading zone/kitchen. Unfortunately there was an increased volume here in the evenings and mornings.

It is 1:30 a.m. on the night of Saturday to Sunday. A group sits in front of the hotel entrance and sings Greek wine and other nice songs. The fact that the hotel guests want to sleep doesn't seem to bother the hotel management, because the hotel rents out the rooms to singing and cheering party guests, presumably in order to generate additional income. From Friday to Saturday, according to information from the hotel staff, the hotel owner's daughter celebrated her birthday in the rooms of the hotel guests until 3 a.m. so that she could smoke and be loud. If you like to sleep at night, you should avoid this hotel. It's a shame for this bad review, but after 2 nights of noise and noise you're just annoyed.

We were super satisfied with the service, the staff and the overall ambience. We would have liked air conditioning if necessary, as we had very tropical nights. But otherwise it's fine with the windows open. The room was very spacious and when we asked, a small additional baby bed was immediately brought to us, as the sofa bed was a little higher. From what I can tell, it was also wheelchair accessible with a large open shower. The fridge with drinks and snacks/ice cream is very tempting and reasonably priced. You can use it day and night. The playroom is great for the children, lots of different toys on site but also a cupboard full of best games/puzzles/card games. There are also lots of books. It certainly won't be boring there. We were equally impressed by the breakfast and there was enough of everything. If something is missing, there are very friendly staff on site who are happy to help.If we are in the area again, we would be happy to be guests here again.

We stayed at the Sapia Hotel Sankt Fridolin in Bad Säckingen for 4 days and were thrilled!!!! I actually didn't want to write a review (not my thing), but this team really more than deserves it. Everything was very clean, the apartment is great and the view from the mega balcony is worth seeing. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and I can only recommend the hotel. Ideally located for bike tours and hiking. Keep it up!!!!! Best regards !!! Michael Allmeroth
