Very nicely located and stylishly furnished with a good breakfast. A great starting point for Konstanz and cycling tours!Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and that was a bit tiring at over 30 degrees.

We were here for the first time during Corona times and booked it again because we had concerts on the island of MainauThe reception was very friendly, the rooms are very clean and correspondingly largeIn the evening we enjoyed a red wine on the terrace and then enjoyed the great whiskey selection at the bar, which is overall recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will give you all directions. The breakfast buffet is great with prosecco, salmon and all sorts of other things, including warm egg dishes upon requestSo, you can really enjoy it.The location is great, you can reach the harbor of Konstanz in 25 minutes on footAll in all, we can only recommend the hotel, the only disadvantage is that we now charge a ten franc parking fee, even though there is enough space

The staff was very service oriented.The bar, breakfast area and roof terrace offer plenty of space to relax.Last but not least, the extensive whiskey selection, with rarities and very old bottlings.An absolute must for whiskey lovers. We look forward to our next stay.It was a great experience, the rooms are tastefully decorated, it is clean, the facilities are excellent. I stayed in the hotel for one night with a friend as part of a bike tour lasting several days. Since the weather was rather bad (continuous rain) we checked in right away at 2 p.m. We were treated in a friendly manner from the first hello to the farewell and our every wish was fulfilled! Our bikes could be parked dry in the garage and we had a great room! The furnishings were very nice and it felt like you were in a Scottish mansion. The hotel is in a quiet location right on the border. We didn't notice anything from the neighbor either. Surprisingly, the accommodation was even cheaper than our German neighbors. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, with something for everyone! We spent the evening comfortably in the lovingly furnished Cigar Lounge. Even then we were still brought some snacks. We felt very comfortable and can only warmly recommend the hotel!

In fact we were here for the bar.The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail - so each room has its own distillery theme. The roof terrace invites you to linger, the bar with its countless whiskeys is sure to make every lover happy. But you should have a slightly thicker wallet with you here - good taste is (sometimes) expensive. But you get whiskeys that you can no longer or hardly ever find on the market. A real highlight!We slept wonderfully and were always lovingly looked after during the rich breakfast.We will definitely come back to one of the themed evenings.

Actually you should give more stars. A house that is truly run with love. Reception by the boss who also shows you to the room. Very solid furnishings that make the house what it is. The rooms are all beautifully appointed with a touch of a Scottish or Irish mansion. You immediately feel at home. There was no remote control for the TV in our room. No problem, but the boss insisted on a room change, that wouldn't work. It's simply unbelievable what's being done here. With its almost 800 euros of whiskey varieties, the bar is the best I've seen so far and the knowledge about all types is conveyed very well. Thank you for that because we should decide with such a selection.... Breakfast is very good and plentiful, special requests can be taken into account, you just have to ask. Yes, it is a little more expensive but that is due to the CHF. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Dedicated entirely to Whiskey, this establishment offers lovely, very comfortable and well-equipped rooms. We loved the decoration and comfort of the bar and breakfast room areas. No catering outside of themed events, always around Whiskey. In this regard, superb collection and famous tasting. The management is very attentive and the staff very welcoming. Large parking lot and beautiful location. The establishment is dedicated to calm and rest.

As members of the whiskey club "COTWE" Zurich, we attended the Whiskey Talk&Dinner event on the topic of Dalmore.The Trompeterschlössle is designed in the style of an English country house; the rooms are each assigned to a distillery and furnished accordingly. A wonderful place to hold a tasting. Between the 4 courses of the Scottish Highland menu, 2 whiskeys were tasted, presented by the Dalmore brand ambassador. Both the whiskeys and the menu were excellent! Likewise the friendliness of the staff, the selection of def bar and the breakfast buffet.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast in a stylish atmosphere. Great and incredibly extensive whiskey bar that leaves nothing to be desired in this area. Very nice rooms and the rest of the hotel with a great atmosphere. Parking spaces directly at the hotel for a fee. About 15 minutes walk to the old town of Konstanz. Outside and a beautiful roof terrace.

Great hotel with very nice staff. Has a huge selection of whiskey in the bar and the location for breakfast is very nice and pleasant. The rooms are also great and we slept very well...it's right behind the border with Germany...we'll book there again💕
