A hotel for transient travelers. Staff very friendly. Room quite okay. Unfortunately we paid €15 for one night for the dog. I found that very expensive and inappropriate since he spent the night on the balcony anyway and didn't incur any additional cleaning costs. Therefore I would no longer stay there with a dog.

I really liked the Hotel “Zum Schwanen”, now Hotel “Eisberg Schwanen” in Lahr. Was there for the first time. Very clean room, comfortable bed, friendly receptionist and a drinks machine for your nightly thirst. Everything was fine. The delicious breakfast is also impressive here!! This isn't the last time I've stayed here.

A somewhat outdated but clean hotel with very nice, helpful staff, a great breakfast that you can also have on the terrace. The location is close to the center, there are many restaurants nearby. Unfortunately the hotel no longer has a restaurant. The bed was great, the mattress was perfect for me. The intermediate door to the hallway is also great, so you don't hear anything from the other guests. The price-performance ratio is just OK, a little less would be more appropriate. But all in all a very pleasant stay! Thank you very much to the staff.

My next stay will definitely be with you again if it comes into question again, e.g. B. Park visit.I had room 101 at the very beginning near the stairwell but I couldn't detect any disturbing noises, even in the morning I didn't wake up and was able to sleep undisturbed until 11am and I wasn't disturbed by the staff because I'm a permanent night shift worker. 1000 thanks for your considerationRoller shutters available, WiFi too, but unfortunately the sessions were quite unstable despite FREE.

Pretty small rooms but no aircon or mini bar. Good for 1-2 night stay. Breakfast is excellent and service staff is courteous.

Hotel OK, just a shame there is no air conditioning. The rooms are quite spacious, as is the bathroom. There are small problems with the WiFi, sometimes it disappears and the connection drops. However, there is full reception in the parking lot next to the hotel. Hmmm, the breakfast is delicious, there is quite a large selection. Overall very nice, just that damn air conditioning. I was there when it was over 30 degrees outside. I still recommend it.

The lady at the reception was very nice and tried to help us after she had accepted the reservation and it wasn't okay with her afterwards.So I stood at the reception in the evening with 3 small children and no one could help me, so I had to pay even more than I already had.I had also sent an email the week before and had not received an answer to this day.There are carpets throughout the hallway that are folded in such a way that guests have to be careful where they put their feet so as not to fall.The rooms are much smaller than expected, the bathroom is just as small and there is no space in the shower.Carpeting has been laid throughout the room, which is so dirty and disgusting that you are really afraid of getting athlete's foot if you go barefoot!I definitely won't be coming back and I definitely won't recommend it!!

Nice little hotel with nice and clean rooms. From 9:00 p.m. the reception is no longer manned, which wasn't a problem. Location is central but quiet. The only thing I would complain about is the sometimes poor WiFi. But if I'm in Lahr again, the hotel would definitely be my choice.

I had booked for the Eisberg City Hotel. However, I was asked by email whether I could go to the sister hotel Schwanen under the same conditions. I agreed to that.Unfortunately, I discovered that the Hotel Schwanen did not have the same conditions as the Eisberg City Hotel.The room was much smaller, there was no trash can and there was no kettle to make coffee or tea, for example. The TV didn't work either and the WiFi reception was a complete disaster as the connection was too slow and was interrupted several times. Breakfast was only available on Sundays and the restaurant there was closed due to renovation work.Our room was on the ground floor with a view of the back building with a construction vehicle.At least the room and bathroom were clean and the beds were comfortable.The price for these 2 nights is absolutely not justified. For this price I got more at the Eisberg City Hotel. We have stayed at the Eisberg City Hotel several times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed and feel we were not treated fairly.

When we arrived at 10 p.meverything was ok when we arrived. The key was in the safe and we were finally inside the hotel.First impression, not bad, but the bathroom door was stuffed with paper towels and it didn't close properly most of the time. Next day, we went for breakfast.Unfortunately, I have to admit, there was very, very little choice. The employees weren't the friendliest either. We didn't feel welcome at all. Even when we checked out, not even a "goodbye!" or "bye!" Hopefully we'll see each other again." They didn't care about anything. Now something about room service, when we came in the bed was made but the dirty bed linen wasn't changed.The floor wasn't vacuumed either. FULL of crumbs...Not even new toilet paper.The TV didn't work for 2 days either. The two TVs didn't even come with a remote control, so technically we would all have to cram ourselves into one bed somehow.Generally disappointed, what was advertised as premium was in reality a mess..
