We were in the Dammenmühle after a long time and we heard that they were open again. I can only recommend it to everyone, the atmosphere is excellent and the food is great. Not to mention the service they were super nice people and very attentive the food came quickly and everything was excellent

The hotel is getting old, the paint is off, broken glass on the carpet in front of the bathroom, plenty of cobwebs (not just since yesterday), dirty chairs etc. Breakfast... well, I drank the coffee, everything else was in my sight not appealing and that on Sunday...Price performance beyond good and evil...Outdoor facilities unkempt Windows to the backyard, loud and unkempt...We were there twice, the first and the last time...Recommendation to take another hotel

A class reunion (55 years of high school graduation) took place thereGood service, very friendly staff. Tables were well set, the food a la carte was served quickly for about 30 people, good taste. Everyone was happy, especially the salmon dishes. The hotel room was charming, the bathroom was new and modern. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive.

We were there on Sunday when a Livebad was playing... so it was very busy... so you just had to be patient... but no problem with the nice atmosphere!! The food was great and the hosts and waitresses were very friendly despite the many guests...We would love to come back!!!!

I was there on Sunday, no service for 30 minutes. Dan went straight to the waiter who directed me to another waiter who took my order. Dan another 30 minutes then the drinks arrived. I wanted to pay straight away. Dan was told I had to pay to my colleague so I went into the building and the man sent over I went outside again to pay. I then looked for a colleague where I could pay. Dan was on the road for another 30 minutes. A man shouldn't advertise in the newspaper if he doesn't have enough places to sit and the situation isn't under control. The people were just annoyed. A drink in an hour and a half and I have to act as a supplicant so that I can pay. That was probably for me and 10 other couples last time at the dammenmühle was actually a shame

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Dammenmühle restaurant in Lahr. Our visit was marked by several problems. The staff had difficulty communicating in German, which made communication much more difficult. It was also strange that only one person was allowed to take the drinks while the food had to be taken by someone else. The waiting time was extremely long. After about 1.5 hours and several requests, we finally received some of our starter. Another 10 minutes later the rest of the starter arrived, and shortly afterwards, just two minutes later, the main course was served. This uncoordinated sequence caused a lot of frustration at the table. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, which was also reflected in the fact that the main course almost fell off the table. Overall, the service was unfortunately disappointing and the experience unsatisfactory.

Food is not good. Portion very small despite the high price. The salads were forgotten. When we asked the waiter about it, he said unfriendly: “You don’t need to come back.” We’re happy to take the tip ;)

The hotel has a very nice location and a beautiful beer garden. The rooms are very clean. The food was also very tasty, although they could perhaps have a few more vegetarian dishes but otherwise everything was great! The breakfast buffet is large and delicious. The staff is also very nice. And it's a great location for cycling. It is also very convenient that it is so close to Europa Park! All in all great! 👍

There were 8 of us and we ate pepper steak three times for 23 euros each. It was very disappointing as it was a piece of the neck and the bacon was cooked and not crispy and the red onions were not properly fried but only briefly popped into the pan. The pepper sauce was out of stockPack and contained 3-5 grains per plate. All in all it was neither a steak nor of any special quality, more of a train station standard and not recommended. The price is high for our region and you could expect more.
