From the extraordinary welcome to the farewell with a handwritten thank you on the bill, we were overwhelmed. We travel a lot and use the local restaurants extensively, but we have never experienced anything so warm and honest. Of course, it could also be that the staff here consists of exceptionally good acting students, but I'm ruling that out. The “I’m-still-looking-at-the-menu” Fürstenberg-Pils was perfectly tapped. The local wine selection is outstanding, and the white wine is also perfectly tempered. I chose the cordon bleu and the lady's risotto. Then I'm out of there. (Fyi...pea risotto with king oyster mushrooms) So I can only really speak for myself. Although, the Cordon Bleu actually speaks for itself. Very interesting variant with mountain cheese and juniper ham, the whole thing more like a roulade. Hammer! When it comes to the fried potatoes, BRAT is a top priority, not mushy potato slices like elsewhere. A side salad is lush for me, but I may not be the standard for all-you-can-eat friends. To round off the evening, we enjoyed an excellent hazelnut brandy from the local Ritter distillery. We would like to be guests again at any time. Thank you for the lovely evening with you.

For many years I have enjoyed coming back to eat at the Krone (twice a year).This time sour Leberle with fried potatoes.Very tasty and reasonably priced. The local wine is a pleasure and not expensive at all. Where can you get 0.1 for 2.80 euros?Service friendly and quick.I personally find the furnishings unchanged for many years, good and sustainable.Happy to repeat.

The hotel is nice, but the rooms lack air conditioning, and for young people, when there is nothing to do here for 2 weeks, the only thing to do is to go 15 km to Freiburg, the clientele is mostly pensioners

We wanted to go out to eat there yesterday, but unfortunately we were greeted by an absolutely cheeky and impudent lady who wasn't keen on us coming to eat with 6 people. She really wanted to persuade us to leave the restaurant...Apparently every table on the terrace was full.When we took a look for ourselves, exactly three two tables were occupied.The rest neither covered nor reserved. (by the way, she said in a snotty cheeky tone, then just choose a table)When the lady became more and more impudent and started insulting us in front of the other guests, who just shook their heads, we then wanted to speak to the boss and apparently it was her.In the end, we are glad that we didn't eat anything because when we went out we saw how dirty it was in the restaurant and at the counter.The store should think about writing a sign on the door saying it's closed due to laziness.We are downright outraged and shocked!!!! We also don't want to know how many guests they generally scare away... The distance from the counter to the terrace is probably too long…. Since she definitely looked at us, we eat a starter, a main course and a dessert… plus the drinks….She would rather scare us away... than make the journey from counter to terrace. (or to make money at all…)Like in a bad movie... we've never experienced anything like that.No thanks, absolutely not recommended and if you don't want to ruin your evening, you should absolutely avoid this restaurant.

Not recommendable! Lazy boss, very unclean restaurant, insults her customers, shys away from customers, obviously overwhelmed by three tables! The boss, at least that's what she said, is more reminiscent of an unvaccinated fighting dog

This is the fourth time we have been here and we are constantly seeing positive changes.Rooms have been completely renovated and comfortably furnished. Restaurant and breakfast buffet with a large selection (something for everyone).The highlight for me is the really cozy sports bar with a really cool football atmosphere.We would love to come back and feel in good hands.Stay as you are :-)

The town of Bötzingen is great for cycling tours. Especially in the Hotel Zur Krone. Rooms all tip top. The employees are all friendly. Boss Franziska and her husband Ulle are very helpful and respond to the guests' wishes. We were once private and then with a group of 18 participants. Still best wishes
