We spent over 1 week in the studio with 4 people. Unfortunately it wasn't as expected for a long time, the biggest minus: the bed in the first room was rock hard. After 2 nights my back was gone. The pillows are made of fluffy filling that doesn't support but collapses. That combined with the hard bed is a disaster. The kitchen is also in the first room. Of course you can hear the refrigerator at night. The television cannot be swiveled. It's not possible for 4 people to watch TV because only 2 can watch at an angle while sitting on the bed because there is no seating. Except the kitchen chairs. There were no curtains in this room (although there were blinds on the outside). Only the screws and dowels stuck out of the wall. The sink was cracked. On the second night a dog barked for several minutes in an adjacent room. The sleep was gone - but we woke up several times with back pain anyway. The sauna bag costs €15 rental fee. But you don't get it back when you return it. Although it is free on the homepage. Since the change of tenant, quality has come to the fore here. That means sofas out and 1.40m bed in.Unfortunately, a vacation with back pain and no sleep is no relaxation.Otherwise it was clean and the size was sufficient. But there are too few storage options. This shows that the studio was actually designed for 2 people. Reception is often not staffed. Clean towels are only available upon request. Beds were not changed even after 9 days. ...all in all mediocre at best..

Four of us stayed there for 2 nights. We liked it a lot. The apartment was very spacious and could easily have accommodated 2 people. Everything you needed was there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped for cooking. A bus stop in front of the house and the train station just 10 minutes on foot

We were traveling with our 86-year-old mom and chose the Amelie because we expected a chill corner in the apartment and studio for cozy hours and conversations.Unfortunately, since our booking in March, all sofas have been replaced with additional double beds without prior notice. Now there are uncomfortable beds in the middle of the kitchen/living room and not only spoil the ambience, but also make it impossible to sit together comfortably. What we liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, large apartment/studio, Nespresso machine, bus stop right next to the hotel, adjacent restaurant with extremely delicious vegan food. What we didn't like: Missing sofa, holes in the bed covers, broken/frayed towels, cheap soap in the shower detergent bottle, no Wi-Fi in the back rooms, squashed fly on the door frame, chewing gum on the terrace, dirty dishes in the cupboard (from the predecessors).

Very nice stay if someone likes it quieter and more rural. Great starting point for excursions. We were a bit skeptical at first because we usually book hotels with breakfast. But our concerns were dispelled during our time there. The building and the rooms are very modern and nicely decorated. The rooms are very large and have a large balcony. You felt like you were in a new apartment. The wellness area in the basement can be used free of charge from 6-10 p.m. and is compact but beautifully designed with 2 saunas, rocking loungers, etc. The facilities surprised us. It was all there in the kitchen. Even toasters, kettles, pots, pans. There is shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom. The rooms were very clean. We felt very comfortable. We chose this apartment hotel because it was the best offer for the price with a sauna and free parking and can recommend this to others. Not far from the hotel are beautiful hiking trails across fields. For example, you can walk to Mindelsee (approx. 30 min.)There is no breakfast at the hotel. There is a restaurant right in the neighboring building and you can book breakfast there.Below is a note for people who are light sleepers: The rooms have external blinds > so you can't get them 100% dark. Ear plugs don't hurt either, as there is a church nearby and the bell rings at night. We had some with us so it wasn't an issue.

We were at the Amelie Radolfzell for the fourth time and were again given a very warm welcome. Every visit so far has been great. This is our third time in apartment number 7 with two bedrooms. Now it's May 2024 and a new era begins for Amelie chez Inez. On April 1st, the hotel changed operator and the focus seems to be not on comfort, but on bed capacity (profit). Instead of a comfortable couch as before, there is now another bed in the living room, which looks like a foreign body next to the dining area and makes the dining area uncomfortable. It's no longer possible to enjoy a nightcap together in front of the TV in the evenings or to make yourself comfortable when the weather is bad. We don't need an apartment to sit on the bed like chickens on a perch. Anyone who has ever been sick while confined to bed knows how uncomfortable this is. And you don't have to spend every evening torturing yourself in a chair. That's why we no longer gave 5 stars, even if it was previously appropriate for this house. Our criticism refers to our apartment as we do not know the furnishings or changes in the other studios/apartments. For us it was the last visit to Amelie.Otherwise, the house has a small, cozy wellness area that we enjoyed using. Up to now there were always packed sauna bags in the room. This time these were no longer there. Even in the sauna area there were no sauna towels or bathrobes and the reception is no longer staffed after 7 p.m. So we had to use the shower towels from the room.
