My mother, 83 years old, and I, 60 years old, were given a relaxing weekend by my children/grandchildren. Unfortunately, it wasn't all that relaxing. It's about the Soibelmanns in Bald Alexanderbad. As other reviewers here have already mentioned, the rooms are already showing their age, furniture, the carpet, the furniture, the paint, etc. Balcony completely worn out. The TV is on d. Refrigerator, which is also getting old, like all the furniture in the room, so that you couldn't look comfortably from the bed without getting a stiff neck. Refrigerator also only worked half. The way the hotel was advertised in the pictures was not at all like that. Neither bright, tidy walls, nor a cozy balcony, nor clean walls, armchairs on the d. Balconies that are far too deep for older people, a bathroom that is absolutely outdated. The toilet was so low down that my mother could hardly use it alone. It was very difficult for her to get down and back up again (40 cm). Not a 4 star flagship (a few photos to follow!) Unfortunately, the view was like in the hospital, a few flowers and an awning to keep out the heat in the room would create a more cozy atmosphere. And where was the vaunted fruit basket on your advertising images on the homepage? We had dinner in the cozy Alex Bar last night and ordered the salmon trout from the oven on cherry tomatoes and potato gratin. Unfortunately, both trout were oversalted and the chef was probably totally in love. But this bar, this room lives from the two employees. But the brilliant bartender with high etiquette, warmth and joy and the woman also saved the evening. They gave their very best! Thank you very much again! Then we were looking forward to the spa area with swimming pool and sauna and we were shocked when we walked in there on Friday evening. Completely hazy, overheated air, no oxygen and the water was completely milky and over 30 degrees, so you couldn't swim laps without your head turning powder red. Unfortunately, as you got older, you couldn't use the loungers because someone with a severe disability couldn't get down or up. Even I had trouble! You couldn't keep the door to the outside area open either because there was no stopper and the step was so high that older people couldn't get up on their own. What a shame! Pictures also totally different than reality! Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell phone with me.The breakfast buffet with the very attentive and warm staff should be mentioned positively. Everything was always freshly refilled until 10 a.m. It's very diverse, there's actually something for everyone, great! The cosmetic studio, which I used this morning for a pedicure, also lives from the warm lady who does an absolutely correct, very clean and very precise job. Again, my absolute respect and thank you. Unfortunately, you were looking at dirty windows, where I quickly returned my attention to my feet.Last but not least, we would like to give special praise to the receptionist, who was on duty from the afternoon on this weekend. He actually embodies the 4 stars, if not 6 stars. My mother is severely disabled and he picked her up there too, was very helpful and helpful. Thank you thank you thank you! Very careful, very loving, very attentive and focused on the well-being of his guests! Great praise! We would be very happy if the review was taken seriously and the hotel, which is in an absolutely idyllic location, was finally renovated little by little, what a shame! Just keep what you see in the pictures! And not what we reviewers have to follow for pictures! Howl......Unfortunately the hotel is only 2 stars and the entire staff is 5 stars! Hopefully you all stay!
