Broken glass on carpet and debris under the bed. Indifferent staff. Had to ask for an extra toilet roll because only a partial one in the room, no tissues in dispenser, water not provided, lift not working and no offer of assistance with bags. Parking free if you're dining there but an extra 10 euros for residents. Tried to ask for toilet roll and tissues as we left for dinner, but receptionist walked away as we were talking because the phone rang. Had to phone reception when we returned from dinner as staff were all outside smoking. Can not recommend despite it being in a beautiful location

Overpriced.Room wasn't restocked or cleaned properly; rubbish and broken glass under the bed.Lift not working, no sign in underground car park to say so, no help offered with luggage.Edited to add: Reception told us that the tap water in the room was undrinkable, but that we could buy a bottle for €3.

The hotel rooms were comfortable however they were a bit small. The bathroom was very new and clean. the breakfast in the morning is the same everyday and it serves regular breakfast items such as fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bread, ham and drinks. occasionally sausages are served too.i tried the restaurant downstairs and it tasted very delicious!! i highly recommend the restaurant as they serve traditional german food and a variety of other delicious dishes as well.

I spent two weeks there, and the first 11 nights were great. Then the temperature went up significantly, and the lack of air conditioning took it's toll. ||The hotel is very old but well maintained. …

A good hotel with very friendly staff. They have a good kitchen with a huge variety of meals for all. The rooms are nice, clean but a bit dated except for the renewed bathrooms. The airconditioning doesn’t really work but you can open windows so no problem. They have a good internet connection except for some rooms.

Rooms a reasonable size, nothing special but clean, quiet and comfortable. Large bathroom with a good shower, but bathroom slightly cold due to lack of heating. Room itself was cold initially but warmed up with thermostat.  …

I booked into this hotel without knowing anything about it, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a lot of car parking, including an underground garage, and the room was comfortable, although not enormous. I was delighted that it had a bath rather than just a shower! It turned out to be a family owned business of some antiquity, the original guest house still part of the now much larger business. The building has been expanded sympathetically. I am impressed that the hotel runs a shuttle bus.Breakfast was good, the evening meals traditional and very German.

This is a homespun hotel, nothing special or extraordinary, but solid and cosy. Room fees are fair. The rooms are simple with newly renovated bathrooms. …

Overpriced, we were given a price of €109 for a double room, dog and parking, which went up to €134 when we had unpacked the car and went back to pay. When entering our room the carpet was stained, there was a big cobweb, the double bed was two single beds pushed together with two single quilts and a huge damp patch on the wall. This is not what you expect for €134. Such a shame as hate to leave a bad review. Staff were polite, bathroom was lovely and breakfast was nice. Would not stay again.
