bed was soooooo comfy like literally we didn’t actually do anything one day because we kept falling asleep bc the beds were so comfy also the room was big the window is nice and the shower has crazy good water pressure also fairly easy to walk everywhere and supermarket nearby

the beds are sooooooooooo comfy that we slept through most of the first and second day, water pressure in the shower was INSANE and perfect temp. good location making it easy to get everywhere we needed to go and nice view. theres lots of shops nearby also.

The hotel is in the middle of the city and very cheap! Unfortunately, parking spaces are only available if you are lucky and drive around a lot. After finally finding a parking space and entering the hotel, we were greeted by extremely loud music and loud people! The first thing that surrounded us in the room was a huge stench that came from the bathroom! Something is wrong with the drain. The bathroom wasn't really clean either! A corner of the mirror had broken off; you could have easily injured yourself! The 140cm wide bed didn't offer that much space for 2 adults who are a little taller! To make matters worse, there were stains on the bed linen, and we also found large, older stains on the mattress! It wasn't possible to sleep properly anyway, you were kept awake by the noise of the elevator (it ran often!) and loudly discussing and arguing guests. On the balcony that we had in the room there was a broken, unusable table and an overflowing ashtray. But we not only found cigarette butts on the balcony, but also on the stairs in the hotel hallway! I think the cleaner hasn't looked on the balcony for a while. The heating didn't work either, but the room was warmed by the overheated wall. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to watch TV either, there were no batteries in the remote control. When we bought some ourselves, because there was no staff anywhere in the hotel, we discovered that there was only one channel.All in all, if you're in town to party and want to sleep off your intoxication for a few hours somewhere, the hotel might be useful or as a love hotel for a short, nice time! The smell would bother me!

I want to write a personal review for Ukrainians who came to spend the night in a hotel to wait in line at the passport office. The staff is kind, they helped bring the bed into the room, took me to a store where I was able to buy a charging cable, BUT, most of the Arabs live here, they don't know what quiet time and culture are. At 12 o'clock at night they shout to the whole room and disturb others' sleep, I knocked on them several times to be quiet, and they left the room and started knocking on my door. At the expense of the rooms, of course, 60 euros per night is not bad for 3 people

Absolutely no recommendation. Instead of the promised single beds, there is a dilapidated room with 2 bunk beds.- The door handles are falling off- Towels cost extra- You can only shower cold and without pressure- You can't call the metal grilles mattresses.- Elevator doesn't work- and even more.Anti-recommendation of the week

DO NOT STAY HERE!I had to make a cancellation here within 12 hours of making a booking - due to a family emergency. The hotel refused to issue me a refund and charged me €290 for the booking. The reservation was 3 months away. An awful way to do business

Rooms look good on Booking. Unfortunately, it's completely different on site.The bathroom smelled bad and was dirty. Had several silverfish on the floor and the bed was completely sagging.The hotel also appears to be a refugee accommodation, among other things. After the first overnight stay, the police were in the lobby. The front desk was unmanned until 8:30 each morning when I went out. Worst hotel I've ever been to in Germany.

Price/performance top! For a very reasonable price a room with a top bathroom, very large shower and a kitchen. The service is also nice. The central location is worth highlighting.

The Sonata City Hotel really surprised me. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable for a big city like Cologne. As a schoolboy or student you can spend a nice night here for little money. In addition to the top location on Zülpicher Platz, the staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is not located directly on the main street and therefore allows you to have a restful sleep. I already know where I will book again next year. My recommendation goes out.
