We were guests in the Petra house for a few days this week. If you're looking for luxury accommodation, you've definitely come to the wrong place here, as it's more in the "simple guesthouse" category, which in itself shouldn't be viewed negatively in any way. Ok, the rooms are somewhere in the 70s and are in desperate need of an overhaul or renovation. According to the operator, this is already preliminary planning and should probably take place after the end of the season. The wet cells, which are unfortunately far too narrow, are anything but contemporary. But otherwise we felt very comfortable here! The rooms are clean and simply but functionally equipped. TV and WiFi were available and could be used reliably and at no extra charge.The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well in them. Although the house is not barrier-free, the location is almost a “dream,” as a famous TV chef likes to describe it. The hosts are very committed and try to respond to all the wishes and needs of their guests. The breakfast was very decent for this category of accommodation. There are no wishes left unfulfilled here either. Another highlight are the house's regular barbecue evenings. Here you can find everything that pleases the palate, from pan steak, poultry and bratwurst. Not to forget a large selection of salads, which are "all" freshly prepared immediately before the event. The quality of the meat and sausage products is also very high, which doesn't doubt for a second that it comes from a specialist company. The location of the guesthouse, on the edge of the forest with a view over the town, is also idyllic and guarantees peace and relaxation. Finally, a note about the operators. The whole family - Petra and Erwin, as well as their two daughters - support their business with everything they have and give everything for their guests. Always friendly, nice and always asking if they have any wishes, they show the guest that they are the priority here. One thing is certain for us: the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here and we will definitely come here again. Finally, we would like to thank the family again...!M.f.G.R. Stephen

Untidy room, musty carpets, broken switches and loose door handles. In addition, it is very noisy, not only can you hear every guest who enters the hallway very loudly, but you can also hear the other guests in the rooms talking across the hallway. Every half hour the heating makes a very loud noise until it is unfortunately switched off at 10 p.m. - it is then cold in the rooms! The whole thing for a price of €60 per night! I will definitely never come back

Beautiful good breakfast outside. Rooms old-fashioned, bathroom, say, very small, old. The toilet did not flush properly and everything smelled like sewage. Owners did nothing about it. We left earlier and got the lungs, everything smelled like sewage. We were not offered a room that was available. We will never go there again and would advise everyone not to go there! There are better places for the same money! What a shame, so bad

I spent three nights at Haus Petra last week. The rooms are simple but clean for the price and were perfect for my needs. The lady of the house is very warm and really tried to make my stay pleasant. The breakfast was very good and I was even able to get it a little earlier than planned. The area is very quiet and invites you to take a walk in the forest. I can only say thank you, everything worked out for me :)

Room very clean, but quite dated, 1960s. Never seen such a small bathroom, it was impossible to turn around or brush your teeth, let alone use the toilet. Please note that breakfast is charged extra, but it is still expensive. For that money you can book something better. In the center everything is closed and boring. The staff is friendly, which makes up for it a bit.
