You can argue about the city, but the hotel is excellent value for money, especially the breakfast for five euros is polarizing, I didn't expect it to be so great.You can recommend this without hesitation.

Never again Ascot Hotel Remscheid!!!Worst customer service and absolutely uncooperative employee Ms. Habicht. Because of Corona and severe bronchitis (whooping cough), we wanted to postpone our 4-day hotel stay at short notice on a goodwill basis. However, Ms. Habicht strictly refused. It would have been possible free of charge via the provider Expedia just 4 days before the start of the trip. We would also have been happy with a hotel voucher for the price of the trip. In order not to lose the entire travel price, we still had to travel. It's a shame that the greed for sales is preferred over the well-being of the guest. The risk of infection for other hotel guests was also very high during our stay. That probably didn't matter to Ms. Habicht.This hotel will never see us again!!!

We came to Remshied from France to visit family and stayed 5 nights. The staff were friendly but the service in the rooms very poor. The only service we got was a change of towels after we asked for it. No replacement of the coffee capsules or clearing out the bins or refreshing the beds. For a very short stay ok but not 2 nights or more...
