Lovingly run family hotel with gluten-free options! The boss personally welcomes the guests, warmly and with good tips for activities and sights in the area. Our room (and the entire hotel) was very clean and tidy. Much of the space was decorated with attention to detail, creating a sense of cosiness. The wellness area was also very clean. Even a spontaneous booking was possible and is recommended via the direct hotel website. The breakfast selection was plentiful and gluten-free rolls were no problem. In the evening you could even order gluten-free Wiener Schnitzel in the restaurant. The location of the hotel is an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful area, and the boss is always available to offer suggestions. The overall atmosphere is very familiar, the entire staff was consistently friendly and in a good mood. We felt very comfortable and would come again.

AMAZING HOTEL!!!!I am a nine year old and yes I am leaving a review because Maximillian Hotel is so amazing let me explain why. So first of all there was a playroom with so much stuff for little kids and second of all it had some nice artwork on the wall, then outside there was a park and it had a long fun slide, structures, a fun swing and even a trampoline. Don’t get me started about breakfast it was literally the best thing in my whole life. There was a giant buffet and it was so gooooooood, did I mention it was good? OMG THE BED WAS SO COMFY I literally fell asleep in 5 seconds. You should really come here it’s so amazing the only down side was that they don’t have a pool but still it was amazing to be there. An exceptionally hospitable house with a great restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were consistently of a high standard. Very attentive and child-friendly staff. My highlight is the playroom next to the dining room - the chance of being able to have breakfast or dinner in peace as parents is very high. My heartfelt thanks also go to the extremely friendly manager of the house - we always felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed. The rooms are not hyper-modern, but they are spacious and comfortably furnished. Due to the convenient location, you can hear one or two cars at night. Even if this bothers you, the benefits described above more than outweigh it.I would book at the Hotel Maximilian again at any time.
