The location of the restaurant is fantastic in itself. The kitchen is in an open area and the price-performance ratio is very good.

A very well-kept, clean hotel with a fantastic location. Very friendly staff.The restaurant is also recommended. Good food and friendly quick service.(Our stay was over 9 nights.)We will definitely visit the Hotel Forelle again.

I had booked a single room as a stopover for 1 night.The room was fine and clean. However, the heating in the bathroom and next to the bed didn't work properly. When the outside temperature was 4 degrees, showering and staying were difficult...but doable. (It could have been a technical defect, it was difficult to find out after just one night)Unfortunately, you couldn't enjoy dinner on the terrace, with its wonderful view of Lake Plansee, because it was raining.The waiter was very friendly, but the food was mediocre. The noodle soup seemed like it had been poured and the schnitzel with fries looked like frozen food, but both tasted ok.The breakfast the next morning was sufficient. No warm food, but ok in itself. Orange juice from the tetra pack.Conclusion: Quiet hotel with a wonderful location, food ok and really reasonably priced, and very friendly staff.I'd love to come back here and hope for better/warmer weather ;-)

The hotel is newly renovated, although the guest room still exudes the charm of the pre-2000s. The hotel impresses with a great terrace with a great view and a lounger and swimming area right on the lake. Price performance is right for my taste. So recommended.This applies at the moment when the lease is re-tendered. Both for the Hotel Forelle and the snack bar at the campsite.

We only booked an overnight stay there, but we were very satisfied. We have been to the Allgäu a few times and the hotel or possibly the campsite is now number 1 for the next hiking holiday in the area. We really enjoyed it despite the really bad weather.

One of only two hotels/restaurants on the huge Plansee. We were there for lunch and were prepared for excessive prices because of the beautiful location on the lake, but we were pleasantly surprised. The Kässpätzle for 16.90 was a very large portion and the drink prices were also reasonable. We found the food very tasty and the service was really good too. The exclusive toilet rooms are particularly noteworthy. We loved the whole restaurant and would eat here again and again. However, we would have liked to be able to park for free as restaurant guests, as the fee for the neighboring parking lot includes swimming at the lake and we actually just wanted to eat and drink something.

Hotel located on Lake Plansee.The terrace offers a beautiful view of the mountains, the lake and its banks.The staff is friendly, and we found the prices reasonable (a little expensive, but well-stocked plates). The waiting time is not too long between ordering and the dishes arriving at the table.Payment by credit card is possible.Negative side: the surrounding car parks are paying, except the car park dedicated to disabled people which is free.(Visited at the end of August 2024)

ATTENTION USURY PRICES!Parking in the parking lot does not cost €5 as advertised but €35!If you stop here to take a quick rest you will have to pay €35!

Beautiful and serene location. Frequented by bikers and hikers this was one of the hidden gems during our trip. No elevator so travel light if possible.

One of the worst apple strudels in the Tyrolean mountains 🙈After we made a note to the service staff, there wasn't really a reaction, unless he passed it on to the kitchen.Thanks to the location, it's probably a no-brainer, but even that can backfire at some point.We were there for the first and last time.
