Insider tip.We had a wonderful long weekend in this small hotel and were very satisfied. Everything just worked for us. Price/performance top!We had a nice room with a balcony and a great view of the mountains. The room was clean and well equipped. In the hotel there is a sauna (included in the price) with panoramic windows! Because of the nice weather we were able to have our breakfast on the terrace, unforgettable with the great view. The Nebelhorn Relaxhotel is quietly located in the small town of Obermaiselstein on a hill. Simply ideal if you want to relax for a few days. We'll definitely be back soon 🙂

We would like to give our impressions here - here is the email sent to the hotel 1 week after our return journey:"Dear Relaxhotel team,We recently spent a few days in your house. We would like to note a few things about this.We would like to highlight the quiet location, the visually very beautiful hotel with its attractive, stylish furnishings in the rooms and in the hotel itself. We liked that very much.It is very clean and inviting and you can feel comfortable! The sauna area is also very nice and pleasant, the loungers are comfortable, the view is wonderful; Everything is there, drinks and the fresh nut bar are a wonderful idea!We enjoyed the “small” but very extensive breakfast buffet; were positively impressed by the service (well-recommended egg dishes, specially provided lactose-free milk) and by the open friendliness of their employee! We would also like to thank you very much for the uncomplicated room change after the first night! What we would personally improve at this point would be the violently creaking bed on the 9th floor. Plus the bathroom door on the 10th floor that brushes against the floor. We would check these and other things regularly and make improvements as soon as possible.Since it is a relaxation hotel, we would take action in advance wherever noise could arise:Silicone buttons on the wall for toilet lids, lubricating squeaky window latches, attaching chair socks/felt pads to chair legs - especially in the rooms - and other things. We also find the fact that check-in is possible 24 hours a bit unreasonable for sleeping guests. We would limit this to 10 p.m. and only allow later arrivals in exceptional cases. You could also schedule room cleaning a little later - especially if the hotel is not full. 9 a.m. might be a bit early (relaxation hotel?).As far as the night's sleep itself is concerned, noise from guests is not a hallmark of a relaxing hotel, although you cannot easily influence this.We heard guests slamming the balcony doors in the middle of the night, talking loudly for a long time in the evening, etc.In the case of noise, if guests complain, you can, in our opinion, ask the noisy guests to stay quiet. ......By the way, we would hang up a politely written piece of paper in the room, which kindly asks for consideration (relaxation hotel...) and also mentions the need for a night's rest.On the two evenings that we spent in the sauna, there were 1 or 2 children in the anteroom by the stairs in the basement (i.e. in front of the sauna area). Since they naturally like to chat etc., this could be heard in the sauna area and unfortunately irritated us quite a bit there. (We also don't want to imagine children using the small drum kit in the basement...)The lovely dog didn't bother us personally, but we think that a house dog perhaps belongs at the reception or something similar rather than in the breakfast area. Some people don't like dogs, are afraid of them, find them unhygienic or are allergic. ?What was very unpleasant was the clearly audible smell of food throughout the hotel and our room on the evening of your (private?) entertaining. We had to ventilate twice to be able to sleep.Door seals could help here and closing the glass door on the ground floor. This would also dampen the noise of society. In addition, the tables and chairs were put back together well after 11 p.m. This was really pervasive and unacceptable in terms of getting a good night's sleep.......Under “calmer” circumstances we would have liked to have stayed. But as it was, we didn't quite have the relaxation we wanted, which we then made up for at home.Maybe you can use the suggestions as an opportunity to rethink them and change some things a bit. ....."-- Unfortunately no response!!We can also agree with the comments about the rather taciturn and spartan friendly reception, among other things.Claudia K.

Nice hotel. Nice rooms, very nice people. Great breakfast. And at a good price-performance ratio. I recommend this. And incredible peace here... only the blackbird whistles.
