Good convenient location a few minutes' walk from Lindau-Reutin station. The common areas, including the bar, are impressive -they compare well with comfortable hotels charging vastly more. My room was more simple-style, but it was a private room with en-suite bathroom, balcony and its own fridge for barely over €41, which I think even in the low season, and including breakfast, is a bargain. I wish I could go back in summer and stay several nights to make the most of the fridge and balcony.

One of the best breakfasts so far in a hostel!! Breakfast was really a plus. Even though this hostel is a little more expensive than most youth hostels in Germany, the breakfast is really worth it. …

The buildings are very clean and well maintained. We are parents of young kids and didn't feel out of place despite the overwhelming majority of teenagers and young adults. The dinner and breakfast were basic but fine, and saved us a lot of time (and money) compared to finding and dining in an outside restaurant, enabling us to spend a lovely evening on a rented pedalo around Lindau. The night was very quiet, despite being the hostel being full on the longest Saturday of the year!

This actually is a hostel, not a hotel. It specializes in serving family groups and tour groups of grade school children. So if eating your breakfast in a cafeteria filled with happy, noisy children would bother you, don't stay here.  …

This hostel is located in the beautiful city of Lindau by Bodensee. The buildings are very old but nicely renovated. Rooms were the standard hostel type with bunk-beds. Everything was very clean and well maintained. …

I'm not too sure, but I think this hostel is cheap. The common areas are absolutely beautiful. However the rooms could use a lot of improvement. Rooms are hot and stuffy and the food is not fantastic although it is buffet style which most Americans will love. I don't recommend it but in case of an emergency, this place would definitely be useful

The hostel rooms were fine, but it was absolutely full of screaming children. The breakfast was decent but the staff were not very helpful. Avoid if you want a proper backpacking hostel or any character.

To costly. 200 euro for a family room. You have to become a member of the hostel organisation!! And taxes are not included. IT is camping under a roof. and you have to make your bed and taken IT off in the morning. Bad experience
