I spent wonderful days at the Schochenhof. The Bär family is available to answer any questions about animal husbandry and you can get a good insight into agricultural work. The welfare of the animals comes first. The rooms are comfortably furnished and there is even a refrigerator available. If you want to spend an authentic farm holiday, you are in good hands with the Bär family.

I can only say good things about the Schochenhof. Unfortunately we only stayed for a few days, but they were enough for us to relax and have a very nice short vacation.My daughter and I feel very comfortable. We were always warmly welcomed, always felt welcome and we hope to be able to visit the Bär family again for a few days this year.The riding lessons are really great. I was looking for something comparable at home for a long time. I've now found what I'm looking for. I followed the advice on what to look for in a good riding lesson and I'm really grateful for that.The animals are doing very well. The Bär family points out precisely and with the right words, especially to children, that you have to have respect for horses and that you should handle them with care.We say thank you and greet the whole Bär family and look forward to hopefully seeing you again this year.

I was at the schochenhof with my children in April 2023... it is a real farm with all the animals that lack nothing...Our rooms were nice and cozy and the food was delicious...My boys were even able to help with the daily work on the farm, which they really enjoyed...I found the quiet location very good because it meant you could switch off from time to time, but you could easily explore the area by car! My mom, my grandson and I were at the Schochenhof for the first time. We left today. We were finally able to escape everyday life in peace and relaxation with delicious food, enough sleep and very nice hosts. My grandson had a lot of fun with the little balance bike and the playground. Best regards

We were able to spend a week of summer vacation here. If you like animals, fresh air and a beautiful area, this is the right place for you! We slept fantastically in our very clean and beautiful room. Despite Corona, Johanna tried to feed us very well. The riding lessons for the little one were very thorough and really well done. As a horse owner you can also learn something new here! Johanna knows something about fine riding and horsemanship!And if you want to explore the area, there are great excursion options... Skyline Park, Lake Starnberg, Lake Constance and so on. Of course you can also hike here!

We came as guests and left as friends. We have also been able to set up a family connection and feel very welcome there. We have been vacationing there for several years now and always look forward to seeing the family again. We can always relax and have a lot of fun with the hosts. Our daughter puts her horse at the Schochenhof Stud, where her young horse can learn to deal with her young whirlwind in a different way. Always has support. Together with her horse, she learns how to properly deal with her small and all other horses at the stud farm and is able to get to know the horse again and again in such a way that she understands the language of the animals and can interpret her own body language. Our dog also feels very comfortable there and despite her age, she always runs around the yard and enjoys the beautiful view there.Many thanks to The Bear Family.You do good work that everyone can learn something from.
