Stayed here more than 3 times, and had very consistent experiences. Staff is friendly, but quiet. Rooms are simply just beds and a small desk, but this is sort of hotel you book if you just need a place to sleep. …

We've stayed here many years ago, and we are very satisfied with this hotel. Very nice helpful staff. Our room(family room with bathroom) was very spacious, well cleaned every day. …

It was a pretty basic hotel. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms (I had a shared one) were also clean. The rooms were also cleaned everyday and the staff were friendly and helpful. …

The hotel in Hamburg was pleasant. It was quite basic and the room was quite small, but we knew that before booking, and that is all we wanted/needed. The breakfast was nice too. The location was very central, close to many shops, bars and restaurants, which was very handy as we were only there for the 1-night before joining our cruise.

The staff are nice but the rooms are not nice. Even though we paid in advance with credit card and had seen the amount withdrawn from my account, upon arrival we were asked to pay again. Then I showed the clerk that the amount was taken from my bank account. After few minutes, the employee showed up at our desk asking if we can provide the credit card number again because the manager thinks they haven't charged us. I refused and showed him my bank statement AGAIN. Then he agreed and called his boss to explain. The beds were also not very comfortable but I suppose it's to be expected from this price range so no surprise there. The good thing about this hotel is that it's reasonable price and very central. Also i want to point out that there are no elevators so all the luggages have to be carried by hand to the room via stairs

We selected the hotel because for a little more than the price of a bunk bed in a hostel in sankt pauli you get a private room with a shower.  …

Terrible hotel! The room offered was just beside the entrance and reception, all noise included. It was just big enough to fit the bed, nothing else. To go to the bathroom you had to cross the hotels entrance area, climb the stairs and walk down a long corridor. Imagine doing that at night or even in the morning for the shower. It seems all about squeezing as much money out of every square centimeter as possible!Worst hotel i've ever been. Area around the hotel is noisy and shabby. Stay away!

Rather go to a hostel, with the same price I have paid. I stayed in the room right next to the entrance, and there were no sound blockage. So although I was staying at the hotel, it was worse to get a sound sleep than at a hostel. The room was very small and narrow, that I could barely open my luggage on the floor. Plus, the shared bathroom was through the hallway and upstairs, so I had to walk quite far to take a shower. Location is fine, 5~10 min walk to the Hauptbahnhof. But you will have to go through the streets, which look like those in Harlem, NY. I do not recommend you, if you are to book a room with shared bathroom.

We were placed in a room right outside reception and right next to the entrance door to the hotel which was never locked! …

We stayed for one night. We had a very cheap special offer with breakfast included. The room and bathroom were clean but a little bit small. There was a big TV in the room and wifi reception was good. The breakfast was more than basic, there were even fruit salad and yoghurt. One star less because of the noise. The room door did not keep the loud voices of another room out.
