The worst place we have found during our road trip. The most uncomfortable pillows we have ever found, just like a bunch of rags. Pain in the neck the morning after. We booked a doublebad and they were two separated bed without even telling us. The had the church bell near hour window, it sang till 00 at night and in the morning it sang every 15 minute from 7 a.m. Window are not noise proof, you could clearly hear people working outside even if we were at the 4th floor. Courtains couldn’t protect properly from light. i will never come back again. P.s. a normal pillow is not so expensive, I think you could invest some money in the health of your guests. Restless is something terribile during a trip.

Our experience at Von Stephan was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The accommodations were absolutely exquisite, boasting elegant décor, plush bedding, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We felt pampered and rejuvenated in our spacious room, which was meticulously cleaned and well-appointed with every amenity imaginable.

Lovely old hotel. Renovations ongoing, but they're keeping it in its old style - nice to see. Fantastic old furnishings, but kept in really good condition. Very comfortable, nice size rooms. …

Thank god it was just a one-night stay with this hotel. The parking garage is like 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. If you need to sleep later than 6am, you can forget about it.  …

The location of this hotel is great. It is not close to the attractions, but is within walking distance of Altona station which is a great transit hub and a stop for many mainline trains. …

This must have been a lovely old hotel in its day. Our room was fine for the one night as we wanted to be close to cruise ship terminal. It took about 20 minutes to walk there pulling our luggage. …

We stayed at this lovely old hotel for three nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. The personnel are very friendly and help you with everything you need. We had breakfast out on the covered terrace room every morning--a very full assortment to keep you going til dinner. The neighborhood is very pretty and quiet and there's a very welcoming church across the street. A wonderful hotel and I hope by saying this, it is not overrun.
