Rooms/Apartments are simple but functional incl kitchenette and cutlery. All clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Only downsides are the noise level if your room is facing to the road and is on a lower level as it may loud. As in traditional Germany, there is no a/c but it rarely gets hot in Hamburg and you can open windows for ventilation anyhow.

The location of the apartment is very close to bus-train and the metro, there are many options for food and shopping around, especially rich in döner and kebab, the rooms are nicely designed, there is a capsule coffee machine and a kettle, the toilet and shower are very good, you can also cook in the room, the receptionist is attentive and helpful, I was generally satisfied.

Ideal for someone who is moving from abroad. It's really well located, in the heart of Harburg. A few minutes walking, and you are on the train station and can move to anywhere in Hamburg really easy and fast. The staff is very proactive and gentle, and the service provided is great (they clean the apartment once a week, they allow you to do the "Anmeldung", the German registration, in their address, they also have a good laundry room and are very organized with the housekeeping tasks).

The stay was very good, I had a nice room on the top floor with a great view. The lift was not working during the first couple of weeks, so this was an inconvenience, but later on it was fine. The cleaning services were excellent. The availability of kitchen utensils was definitely helpful. Silja at the reception was very helpful.Some comments for improvement:1) The dryers at the laundry are very inefficient. Most of the times, you have to dry the clothes on the drying rack even afterwards.2) I felt that the position of the TV in the room is a bit high. It is at a good angle to watch from the bed; but, it is impossible to watch while sitting down on the chair. It would help if it can be made a little lower.3) It would help to have a compost pit of some kind, in order to dispose the food waste directly.

It was really a great experience.The room was modern, nice, clean and comfortable.The staff very helpful and nice.The only detail was that the wifi connection sometimes doesn't work, particularly in the morning. But this just happened in the last couple of weeks.For a student like me, it is a very good accommodation choice.

Internet is always broken. The cleaning staff cleans your flat once a week but the cleaning is superficial and not done well. The staff at reception is generally friendly. Laundry is not included in the rent thereby making this place quite expensive to live in

I am still staying at the Hub Apartments. But I should confess as an International Student I a new place, I am glad for choosing the Hub-Apartments for my stay. From friendly staff (who are always willing to go an extra mile to make your settling in comfortable) to neat and clean rooms, and the excellent Student packages...this is a home far away from home. To International Students if you wish to have a hustle free settling in in Hamburg, this is a place to be.

Room was small, but clean and quiet. Most annoying thing here was the internet speed and stability, in the evenings it was impossible to watch something on youtube or internet tv, even loading web pages took a lot of time.
