Hotel that does not comply with the disclosure made! I don't recommend it! Dirty rooms, clogged bathrooms, no sabotage… the only good thing was the reception staff, who were super friendly! But the hotel itself stinks and needs urgent renovation! They advertise rooms with a nice view and I received a tiny room with no nice view and a blocked bathroom! I will never return! I don't recommend it even to people I don't like!

The service deserves 6 stars, can be reached by phone at any time, big thanks to Akil!The room was nice and clean, well prepared and leaves nothing to be desired. Location is also very central, you can get everywhere very quickly because of the good train connection.

The room looked different than the photos. It was clean and you could spend two nights there if you were just there to sleep and shower. The location is very central, but I personally wouldn't choose this district again. The employee who greeted me was rather unfriendly and annoyed. The hotel is a small house with a few rooms. The fittings in the bathroom were clean, but they clearly showed their age. The existing hairdryer smelled when you turned it on. The rooms were very noisy.

Location right next to the subway station (and opposite both LIDL and snack bars on the street)Staff extremely friendly and helpful. If Mr. Erhan is reading this: You did a very good job, deserve 5 stars :)Room was good, everything you wanted: enough towels, Wi-Fi (good Wi-Fi! Not just "connected" in a token sense), TV a little difficult to find good channels (because there were so many!)But only 4 stars because the light in the bathroom kept going out while showering. (motion detector instead of switch)

Really good hotel with nice rooms for a very good price!Extremely good service especially from Mr. Zazai!As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile that immediately made me forget all the stresses of the journey. Zazai was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional - he really went out of his way to make me feel welcome.I can only warmly recommend the City Hotel!!! 10/10 I would definitely stay here again.

Our visit to the City Hotel was a very nice and unique experience. The hotel is very centrally located and is easily accessible by subway. The competent, friendly and extremely helpful service was particularly positive. Especially the employee Murat(M.I.). We felt comfortable and would love to come back. Highly recommended!!!!!

Negative:-Sink dirty,-Shower dirty,-Motion detector for the bathroom light is disadvantageous because it only goes out after what feels like 10 minutes and it is annoying in the evening if you are like me, for example. leaves the door open to ventilate the entire accommodation,-No towels for hands, just thin paper from the dispenser-When entering the room, the bed had to be moved beforehand, otherwise the door would not open into the room,-Relatively noisy walls,-No air conditioning, just a dusty and loud fanRoom service knocks on the door at 11:40 a.m. and asks if we are checking out, even though we don't have to be out until 12 p.m. (totally unfriendly and unprofessional!!)Positive:-Location very central to the main train station,-Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance,-Reception friendly,-Bed is soft,-The price is okayConclusion: for a short stay where you are traveling more than being in the hotel, this hotel is quite okay, apart from the deficiencies in the bathroom.But if you are in Hamburg for a longer period of time, you should definitely look for another hotel.
