The hotel is nice, but it is not worth the 200 euro a night for a family of 4. We did the family room and the beds where the hardest most uncomfortable mattress ever. The room where very clean, clean linens and towels, and the parking garage requires a lot of patience, it's underground and if you drive anything mid size and up I would park it elsewhere. It's right behind a farm and next to a burnt out house.

Hotel refused to refund a refundable reservation that I cancelled three days before check in. I have documentation and email to confirm. They are lazy thieves. Do not book here.

Paid €€€ for three rooms. Were made to wait in the lobby for hours despite low occupancy and housekeeping being busy. Were told that early check-in is €20 per room. All seemed deliberate. Building works happening and constant banging. Nothing to do in the area with kids. Next reasonable restaurant 15mins walk away. Never coming back here.

Overall very poor stay.Positive: the lady in the morning was niceNegative:- the guy at the reception was incredibly rude, telling me to 'schuch' because he was busy, speaking only German, and then, when he saw the booking through my company, starting to speak in English (oh, finally).- hair on my towel when I opened it- spiderwebs ( a few) in each room- doesn't look like advertised- breakfast very poor for the price

What we liked:In preparation for our trip, the hotel staff was quite friendly and assisted us with our arrival. The rooms were acceptably clean for the most part. The heated floor in the bathroom was quite nice. Also nice to know that the toilets use recycled rainwater. What could be improved:It did not quite feel like there was much "love" invested in furnishing/maintaining the room, we had the "suite". The room had basic wood furnishings, there is also access to a shared balcony (2 chairs and no table. We would have liked to have a morning coffee outside our room, alas no coffee machine and no table outside) There were black chemical streaks in the toilet, but it was nothing to lose your mind over. We also belong to the group of reviewers that found the mattresses to be a bit too firm for our liking, so we didnt sleep so great. I guess that is a personal preference....Also, due to some uncertainty regarding our plans, the hotel ended up billing us for a night in the parking garage which we did not use. We had stated our uncertainty about using the garage for another night, the receptionist apparently booked it in the system as a definite "yes".(Tip: we parked in the neighborhood for free) Upon asking the receptionist to clear the charge (7,50€), she refused, stating that the parking space had already been reserved for us. For a 3-night, 1x Breakfast bill of 315€, I really would have appreciated that very small, but important gesture of not charging your guests for something they did not use.All in all, we probably will not be coming back because that moment with the parking spot left a bit of a "bad aftertaste". Sometimes a simple & kind gesture can make all the difference. Oh well.

The guy in the reception 11/8 at 22:10 are so rude and hang up the phone when i asked if they got a room that booking say they have. NEVER go to this place as long as that person works there. I tell this to be nice to the owner of the hotel so they can get better workers.

This hotel is located at the very edge of town but not in a particularly beautiful setting or within nature. The building might be build to some sustainable 'Öko' standards but everything I saw was rather standard (like the industrial ille soap in the shower) and bland. Spacious room, so-so cleaning, had to ask twice to get the two bed setup for my daughter for the second night.Would not stay here again if coming to Hamburg. Without the somewhat misleading Öko in the name I'd have given it 4 stars though.

Very satisfied with our stay. The staff was helpful and knew at least decent English. The view from the room was not very nice, the back of the hotel looked like a construction site, but the room itself was very good with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was good, decent amount of choices and mostly good food. Location of the hotel was quite good as well, with buses to the city centre a few minutes walk away. A 20 walk away or so from the hotel was a simply fantastic restaurant called Taverna Kronos which I highly recommend to anyone who likes Greek food.

We stayed in the “suite” 2 nights for business purposes and found it adequate. The room was very spacious and clean, the location suited us, it is very reasonable priced and the breakfast was absolutely perfect. …
