Everything from the innovative windows to the adorable staircase was delightful. It was a treat to stay here after a long week of camping prior to arriving. The hotel has gone the extra mile by making sure the rooms are beautiful and accommodating regardless of size. The size of the room was just right and not too large or gaudy. The location is excellent because it is a safe area to be near when all of the city comes to life at night. Thank you for the complimentary amenities provided as well.

Be aware of the shady area you must pass to the city center! Between all of the major attractions and the hotel you must pass near the central train station! Shady people gathered in groups, a lot of homeless, but worse than those are the junkies preparing crack on the side of the street. The hotel itself is good, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is awesome! Would not staying again just because of the area…

Loved the hugeTv and the fast wifi. |Very happy with my stay & will return. I appreciated the efficient staff. |Staff super nice & helpful. The area is not the nicest, but I lived in HH and please do not worry, it’s safe. It’s also only a 19min walk to the central station.

The hotel was very comfortable and not too far from Hamburg Central train station (15-20min walk).|The entry level has a lounge and a small bar, which looked very cosy.|The staff was very nice and the breakfast was ample.|The only thing we missed was a family room/suite for 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

Location is a mess and very unsafe! I would have avoid it if I knew about the homeless people doing drugs in the middle of the street. I was affraid of walking back to the hotel especially in the evening. Central Train station area has to be avoided and so this hotel too! I don t understand why people are not saying anything about this PROBLEM in their reviews!

If you like old style please this is your choice. I thank all the staff at this hotel for their excellent treatment. I must mention the advantages of this hotel after my experience staying for one week.The rooms are large and clean, and the location is excellent, close to the main train station.

Not worth it. The hotel is conveniently located and was clean enough, but the noise and vibration from the trains made sleeping almost impossible. It was also too easy for sound to pass from the hallway and other rooms. In order to take advantage of the nearby HBF you have to walk by a few groups of IV drug users (anytime of day) and vomit/broken glass.

I was Leary to spend €200 at a Best Western but this hotel is very nice. Everything is high quality. Very clean, very polite and nice staff. Rooms are small but is in line with Europe in general, no problem. (Actually much larger than other rooms we've stayed at recently). Parking is an extra €10 but is well worth it because they have their own secured inner parking lot which put us at ease since we had a brand new car we were worried about. Very impressed, well done.

The room is very comfortable and quiet on the top floor. Nicely furnished and plenty of space. The shower room looks new. It's bright and clean. The service is excellent. Great breakfast but unfortunately they don't do dinner. The location is not great, it's quite run down and dirty in the surrounding area but it's within a short walk to the station. It's a half hour brisk walk to the international conference centre.
