Although the rooms are visually appealing, the beds are rock hard and there’s no air conditioning. Also, the windows cannot be opened in the room to cool it down.It was a sleepless night for me, with a feeling of panic and not getting enough air. I called the receptionist and was informed that there unfortunately weren’t any options and that all rooms were the same. Therefore, this hotel cannot be recommended.

Rooms are really comfortable and no moisture. I love the eco friendly soap and shampoo they have. Their weekend breakfast was really excellent. About 6 metro stops from the main train station. You are also supporting the environment cause.

Nice hotels. I love the idea with the woods and every rooms have their own tree's name. The bed is oke, the pillow is a lil bit too soft for me. Bath room is clean. The receptionist are friendly.Breakfast are good and enough option. The price is affordable. 15€ for adult and 7,5€ for kids 6-12 y.o.The only not nice experience was when we were in the restaurants for drinking, and the employee ( old lady) asked unfriendly to me so the kids can be quite and not make a noise. Uhmm...they were not screaming or running around. They were just excited about the holiday and just talking to each other. The place nearby the station. So its easy if you wanna go to the city. The location are good, the views around is beautiful.

Raphael Hotel Waelderhaus is located in the heart of the Hamburg sports complex. It's an ecological dream of the 82 rooms come true with meeting rooms (large and small) coupled with a science center for young people to learn about their outdoors. The basketball arena, climbing wall and canoe is in the vicinity. It is a family environment with many trails for biking and walking. The on-site restaurant offers breakfast for clients - they even have vegan options. The gift shop offers a range of ecological products, including dry cereals, toiletries, and souvenirs. The entire staff is friendly and proficient in English. Smoking is not permitted because all packages (comfort and standard) include wooden wall panels with various species of endangered trees. The surroundings are the hub of several exhibition buildings built for living and working. For a beautiful property with a plethora of amenities, $84 starter price for an overnight stay is worth it if you want to learn more about sustainability.

We stayed in this modern and forest-themed hotel during the Christmas holidays and liked it very much. The hotel is situated in a modern neighbourhood just outside Hamburg city centre. This meant that the surroundings (big park!) …

we booked for a couple as we were there for concert in the Arena next door.cons:-we arrived at 4pm, reception said hotel has problem with organisation and have no clean room for check-in. after I expressed my need for a room as I need asap to get ready for the event then we were given handicap room, which we didnt mind.-as we check in at 4 we were informed kitchen is closed for the day. so no restaurant no bar for the evening… such missopportunity, because of the concert there were thousands of hungry and thirsty people there in there!-the room was all the way at the end of hall which was no biggie until the wifi was not working in this room!! we tried to use our mobile data but no reception at all lol ?!-TV was not working?!-no tea and coffee making facilities no fridge. I mean its probably is a different style of hotel (sustainable) but yea just fyi.-biggest disappointment: NO PARKING.-window could not be opened widely. no other air ventilation in the room so room would smell kinda damp if we take a shower or sth.pros:-friendly and helpful reception lady-breakfast was okay. standard. coffee was good-definitely like the shower gel and shampoo in bigger bottle instead of one use types.-location

Like staying in a packing case in a building site. Unfinished wood on the walls and bare concrete. No expense was too little for those who built and those who run this hotel. …
