You were kindly looked after when you arrived and at breakfast. At breakfast there was homemade jam and honey. What we particularly liked!The hotel itself is really nice from the inside, but unfortunately you could hear the street at night when the windows were open. There was also no nice view. (Peace and a beautiful view would have been missing for 5 stars)

My review is for the restaurantWe were treated to a wonderful 5-course menu in the garden. The food is absolutely top class and the service cannot be beaten in terms of friendliness.All the ingredients in the food are homemade and great emphasis is placed on regional produce.

We arranged to meet friends for dinner on Saturday evening. We are unanimously thrilled by the great, extremely friendly service, the coziness and the ambience. Each of our meals was delicious and attractively presented. We had a very good time and will definitely come back. We also bought a few jars of the delicacies that are available for purchase and are already looking forward to our breakfast tomorrow with delicious homemade jam 👍🙂

Very great restaurant with really good food and friendly service. Regional and seasonal menu, honest cooking, varied drinks menu and cozy atmosphere. Not too loud, you can have a great conversation even when the store is full.We had a very nice evening with our family, thank you for your hospitality and greetings from Karl and Elise ;-)

Nice owners. Clean and nicely arranged rooms.BUT: At night until well after 10 p.m. there was a huge noise from the kitchen on the ground floor. Sleeping on the first floor was out of the question. The heating is switched off from 10 p.m. Until 6 a.m. It was freezing cold at night and in winter! Really a shame, at a price of €98/double room WITHOUT breakfast.

Rating based on a visit to a restaurant on Friday evening with a reservation. Reservation would not have been absolutely necessary. The dining room was about half full. Large selection of wines on the menu. But the smaller selection of dishes. The dishes all read well, as does the recommended dish of the day. Before the meal we were served homemade quark with bread as an aperitif and offered to order more bread. The food itself was good. Very good. Or as I would say: "good as in a restaurant". Which means: it was really tasty, but I definitely wasn't full. The prices are definitely reasonable given the quality and presentation of the food. The service was also friendly and quick. This was my second time there and I will definitely go there again to eat.

I was very lucky to get a table there on my birthday and I have absolutely no regrets. From the selection of food and drinks to the caring and attentive service, I can only say: 10 stars plus! I haven't enjoyed such great company and such wonderful, delicious and extraordinary food in the middle of the Spessart for a very long time. You can see how much effort is put into this and how much passion the owners put into conjuring up something wonderful. The little things that were made with love and that each guest can buy and take with them were also great. Thank you for this unforgettable evening, we would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend stopping by here.
