A nice family-owned hotel, it's very basic and old. But, the rooms were clean. The breakfast is nothing special bread buns with cheese and ham that didn't bother us, but for 5€ / person is too much for what it offered. The hotel is quiet and perfect if you have jobs to do in Bergrheinfeld. Across the street, there is a Chinese restaurant with good food and portions. Also in the hotel, there is no natural water without gas so if you are thirsty go to Lidle next door to buy some because there is not in the hotel. On the other hand is nice to support a local family by staying in this hotel. The people are friendly and logical.

Good place to stay when cycling the Main Radweg. Very helpful host. We were able to do a load of washing which was dry by Breakfast time. There was a lock-up to keep our Tandem safely overnight. There was a good buffet breakfast with everything a cyclist needs before setting off.

Clean rooms, little fridge, no hairdryer, totally outdated, no streaming possible with the internet that's provided by the hotel, front desk unfriendly, the guy behind the desk seemed to be bothered by guests, specially if you have a question, very noisy, the room doors are shaking, you hear the shower of the room next door loud and clear, just one pillow, definitely too expensive for what you get, unpleasant stay!!!

Price performance is not given here!Family-run company and nice people, that's why we get the second star.The room is shabby and especially the bathroom is very dirty!The furnishings date back to the mid 80s...Something good is the proximity to the city center of Schweinfurt, but unfortunately this hotel is also located in the middle of a main street, which is also noticeable when you want to sleep.Unfortunately, no one cared that I hung the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door?!A dirty toilet with urine stains and remnants of the last guest's shave are simply unacceptable to me!!!

I don't understand some of the bad reviews at all.Yes, the hotel and rooms are from a different era, but no less neat or clean.The rooms are equipped with a nice clean bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the single rooms offer enough space.The breakfast is manageable, but that doesn't make it any less tasty. The food served is of good quality, the coffee wakes you up and egg dishes are prepared upon request.The service is very good. Every request was complied with and care was taken beyond what was necessary.

The hotel is older but has its own charm, from the beginning I wasn't sure if the hotel would be good because of the bad reviews, which I can refute. The hotel is in a good location not far from the center, the rooms are well maintained and it is quiet even though the hotel is next to the road. Breakfasts are slightly limited in the choice of dishes.

Traffic too loud, beds too hard, pillows urgently need to be replaced, breakfast at the lowest level. I like shappy but it's all so old that it has no charm. Bathroom much too small. Cupboard smells moldy and like vinegar.
