The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is polite. The Erec´s restaurant is one of the best I ever tried. The cook is Great with many experiences. From soup, through steak to dessert Schokoladentraum. You can choose any from the menu and you will be satisfied. I was here for 4 times.

The beds make super loud noises whenever you move, unable to fall asleep. Shower room was super small, even for a small girl like me. Breakfast was rather simple and boring, only the boiled eggs worth some compliments. The reception was so so, it seems they don’t know how to make invoice.

Stayed here at the hotel for one night. Our room was really big with a double bed and two additional single beds. Nice bathroom with shower bathtub. Everything was in very nice condition. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant (highly recommended). All in all a very nice stay.

I am often a guest in this house. Whenever I travel to the Bamberg region on business, I stay in this house because I am absolutely convinced of the price-performance ratio.The rooms are very comfortable and, above all, clean, which is particularly important.The breakfast is of a good standard and even extremely cheap for the service offered. There is a rich buffet and special requests are realized quickly and easily whenever possible. The ladies who take turns being responsible for breakfast are absolute gems, incredibly polite, attentive and make you feel like you are welcome here. Even after a long time, they still know my breakfast drink preferences and that continues to amaze and positively surprise me.But the restaurant also prepares food of the highest quality. Normally I always have to add seasoning to soups in restaurants, but not here. All soups are ideally seasoned and seasoned. The menu is a successful mix of home-style and international cuisine with seasonal modifications. The cooking here is at a level that I would not have expected, and the traditional greeting from the kitchen is a really positive surprise for every new guest. I always look forward to the baguette with homemade olive caviar. But not only the olive caviar, all the jams are homemade and incredibly tasty.In any case, I always enjoy being a guest in this house. I feel comfortable and welcome here.

Although it is showing its age on the outside and partly on the inside, it is still clean and has a certain charm. The rooms are large and attractively furnished. The bathroom is also big enough and has everything you need. In 3 minutes you can walk to the city center, making it an ideal starting point for a cozy wine evening in the city.
