I was visiting Germany on business this week and mistakenly booked this hotel in Mainberg, instead of one in Mainburg (where my meeting was)…. 🤪I’m glad I made the mistake though! This is such a lovely family run hotel; the whole place is pretty new (2021 I think), but it’s built inside an old barn, so the restaurant area is really charming with exposed stone walls and wooden beams.My room was spotless and really well appointed, with a comfy bed, huge TV and a very modern shower. The WiFi was great too! 250Mbps.Breakfast was very good European style, with fresh eggs cooked to your liking, good coffee and juices too.There was parking in the courtyard, which was great for my rental car.It looks like this area is popular with cyclists. So maybe check that out if that’s your thing?I’m really pleased with my happy accident, and the 2.5 hour drive to the “other” Mainburg was worth it!Thanks to the owners for their hospitality! I hope to return one day.

Stayed only one night on the way back to Sweden but extremely pleased. Nice owner, good breakfast with delicious coffee, friendly owner who was quick to respond when emailed. Would gladly come back.

My wife and I spent a night at Martins on the way to vacation.It was really classy and great. The family's welcome was super nice, the rooms are great, very clean and modernly furnished, without this beautiful hotel losing its charm. The breakfast was very varied, fresh and simply delicious. There is something for everyone. The service is unique and we were also offered a great beer garden for dinner, which was only 3 minutes away. Driving away was recommended.Therefore 5 stars and we will always make our stopover there.

A small but very nice hotel. Very hospitable and appealing. Beautiful rooms, everything newly furnished. Extensive breakfast buffet. Price/performance is right. I'd love to come back!

We decided at very short notice to stay with the Martins for one night. In addition to the really well-furnished rooms, a delicious and lovingly prepared breakfast and a really cozy bar, you have to emphasize the first-class hospitality of the Martins. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Very nice and family-run accommodation.Beautifully modern rooms and spaces.Original building fabric meets modernity.Huge breakfast buffet in a great atmosphere. Perfect accommodation on our bike trip. Immediately close to the Main cycle path. We'd love to come back.Thank you again and all the best.

Nice spacious room. Very clean. The room smells wonderful because of the freshly washed bedding. Perfect service and hospitality. The cellar where breakfast takes place is impressive. Breakfast very extensive. Very nice hostess.
