This compares to a bedsit. Good storage and utensils etc. But the bedding is poor quality and the curtains don't cover the windows, so at night it appears cold as the blinds are just metal. No style in the décor. …

We (2 adults, 1 child) booked this guesthouse or a holiday apartment there for a short vacation of 4 days. Everything you need for your daily needs is there. Particularly noteworthy are the large bathroom, the well-equipped kitchen, as well as the beautifully located living room with a terrace and a view of one of the Rhön valleys. There is a swimming pool on the neighboring property which also belongs to the family and can be used by guests. Since a total of three holiday apartments have to share one, albeit large, terrace/garden, “privacy” is not always guaranteed. Access to the pool always leads past one of the holiday apartments. If that doesn't bother you, you can spend a few carefree, wonderful days here. For 3 nights in the spacious holiday apartment we paid just over €110 per night in the high season, which we consider to be completely reasonable. Here you can only give a recommendation and give 5 stars. 👍

There were three of us (2 adults and an infant) in the small holiday apartment and we thought it was great. The kitchen had everything you needed, the apartment was well maintained and clean. The garden is large and quiet, furnished with its own playground. Opposite there is a good pizzeria with pleasant prices. The landlord was also very nice and accommodating. We are already looking forward to the next time we go on vacation to beautiful Bad Bockelet.

The location is great! The garden is huge, beautifully landscaped with a playground for the little guests, the apartments are large, the landlords are nice. Everything is as shown in the photos. If you don't like the facility, you don't have to book. We like the decor better than the new-fangled decor more commonly found in hotels now. Nothing is missing and it doesn't smell like others claim. I can only recommend Pension Höchemer. We'd love to come back!

We were only guests of the Höchemer family in Bad Bocklet for a short time. I can't understand the bad reviews.It's clean and tidy here. The holiday apartment is rustically furnished and has everything you need for life.There is also a beautiful bathroom and a beautiful, tasteful garden.We felt very comfortable.

Very nice, quiet location where you can relax even on a weekend vacation. Very friendly and helpful landlords. Breakfast was perfect and the view from the window in the breakfast room is fantastic. I'd love to come back.

Cautious! We were promised a holiday apartment with 3 separate bedrooms over the phone. Mega disappointment upon arrival. Everything looked run down. My colleague was supposed to sleep outside in the garden shed and I was supposed to sleep in the kitchen. The other in the double bed. So much for 3 separate bedrooms...Finally, the crowning glory! The owner charged 35 euros per person + tax and ripped him off! Honestly. I can understand this situation at the moment with tourists being banned from entering the country and the fact that they somehow don't have the money, but exploiting and lying to the hard-working craftsmen really doesn't have to be possible. Never again!!!

Very nice, family guesthouse with pretty apartments. Lovingly furnished and clean.Especially in spring, the large garden blooms in different colors, beautifully.Upon request, I was given scrambled eggs from our own chickens.Any time.
