Smells like someone just left! Dirty room, uncleaned bathroom, the other bed has been slept in and is unmade. No shame!

We arrived late and found out that the room was not cleaned at all. Stains and dirt in the bed, the floor not vacuumed. Called the owner that evening and he did not have any more rooms, so we agreed on the phone that I would get a refund because the room was inhabitable. I have not received the refund, and he is not responding.Stay away from this place.

Good location and convinient to step for 1 night. New motel with self checkin. Beware there is no airconditioning and in summer it is like in oven.

Thank God we were only there one night. Check-in is done using a numerical code (it worked very well). Our room was 101 on the ground floor. The way we found the room, it wasn't cleaned! …

Works fine for just one night but not on the weekend. Room 108 was clean, nice and fresh but young people seem to have the corridor as a place to hang out during late weekend nights so it was messy. The front door is a nightmare as the whole house shakes when it closes with a bang and it was used extensively during the night. Even earplugs didn't help. On Saturday morning, people were woken up by a Russian who ravaged the window and screamed at 7 am. AsylumThe positives were that the room was nice and there was a grocery store nearby, as well as free parking and easy check-in, and that dogs were allowed to come with them, even if the messy environment did not feel dog-friendly

Is and remains a motel.The booking was problem-free. The check in too. On site, the whole thing makes a rather worn impression (note that the house hasn't been open for long).Broken entrance door, unpleasant smell, some broken corners and objects.The room furnishings are extremely simple and made up of very poor quality furnishings.The cleanliness was ok.

We had booked for one night and it was horror. Check in via code (was the only positive thing).Room was not agreed! Crumbs and visible dirt everywhere, in the bathroom there was still a shirt from the previous one on the floor :(There was mold and a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom.Equipment broken, no fire alarm.Very loud in the house, everything was really unpleasant.Never again and I recommend everyone to go somewhere else.

Completely automatic motel without reception: after booking you get a code for the door. Minimalist, functional furnishings with no frills, but rather of the cheap variety. Everything feels new, everything worked perfectly in our room. Beds are fine, the bathroom is good, cleanliness was also good. The space is generous. On Sunday, however, you are in a completely deserted commercial area, but it is quiet. There is a Rewe right next door, but the bakery there is closed on Sundays.

The rooms are ok for one night. The current high temperatures also make the rooms very warm. Sleeping with the window open is rather bad because of the lack of fly screens and the noise from suppliers at Rewe. You could do some proper cleaning, like dusting the cupboards. Otherwise everything is ok so far. The electronic entry system is cool. Note: There are two entrances. You don't notice the one below.

Our review was deleted due to alleged “defamation”. For this reason, I would like to re-upload our stay at the Motel Bergtheim (booked via Booking.com) from June 16th, 2023 to June 17th, 2023:"Our stay in room 101 was disappointing. It was right next to the entrance door and was extremely loud. The constantly slamming doors and loud conversations from other hotel guests kept us awake until the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately, there was also no sufficient darkening option in the room, and there was no light switch in the bathroom. The facilities and cleanliness were ok, but we expected more for the price. The only positive point was the flexible check-in and check-out option."Instead of questioning themselves and heeding the criticism, the owners apparently ONLY want to get rid of the negative feedback.I don't recommend this motel to anyone. Stay away
