Arrived late but the landlady was immediately at the door when we rang the bell. She showed us some nice rooms for our stay the following days. …

We stayed there in 2011 and 2014 while visiting Oberweißenbrunn. The experience was superb!. I first visited Gasthof Lamm in 1980 while serving in the area as an Army Captain. It remains a friendly, quality place to stay. We are already looking forward to a return visit in September of 2016..

Our first visit to Gasthof Zum Lamm was in 1980 when my husband was stationed in Wildflecken. Anytime we go back to visit we stay at Zum Lamm. Although the ownership has changed, it is still a great home base to tour the beautiful area. The owners are very nice and want to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

We were there with 8 people and used the hotel as a base for our day tours. You shouldn't be put off by the external impression of the facade. We received a very friendly welcome and were given extensive tips for dinner and reservations. The rooms have been partially renovated, although there is still a bit of 80s charm. Everything was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. On the first floor there is a large hall and lounge with a drinks fridge, where we as a group were able to end the evening. There is also a TV room downstairs. The breakfast in the morning was extensive with fresh and regional foods and was regularly replenished. In the village we enjoyed ice cream once a day in the small farm shop nearby (open 24 hours a day with self-service) and went to the smallest pub in northern Bavaria (Lemon's Scheunenbrand). Tip: definitely eat something in the pub… it was very tasty. You can easily do a day trip to the Kreuzberg from Oberweißenbrunn and the price-performance ratio was great.

It is an outdated accommodation that could do with some modernization. It is old-fashioned but clean and the breakfast is delicious. The owners are very nice, helpful and very polite.

Simply. But just good! The Bonitz family runs this bed and breakfast with commitment and care, if I can describe it that way.The 70s/80s flair creates an exceptionally pleasant rustic atmosphere.“Gasthof” without a restaurant. If you can't read like me, you might be surprised and have to look for a place to stop in the evening or arrive already full. The small spot in the Röhn is perfect for hikers and cyclists at higher altitudes. Nearest train stations in Gersfeld and Bischofsheim.Five thumbs up!
