We needed to stay one night on our way back from Bad Wiessee and wanted to visit my mom's hometown Gerolzhofen. Hotel am Markt was the only availability at the time. …

I was satisfied all around...The bed was not okay at all.Every little movement made loud noises. The rooms are very old.Perfect for sleeping. The location is great plus own parking space...Which makes sense in this place.Very nice owner.

We stayed at the Hotel Weinstube am Markt for one night at the end of May. True to the motto “You can’t treat yourself to anything else” we booked one of the suites. The four-poster bed was the deciding factor. 😀The hotel is very centrally located in the middle of the market square. Guests can park their vehicle free of charge in the hotel's own parking lot. The hotel can then be entered from there. In this house, history literally jumps out at the guest. The rooms are suitably furnished with great attention to detail. For me, as someone interested in history, staying there was a real experience! However, the historic building also has a disadvantage: it is absolutely not barrier-free. For people who are not good walkers, the relatively narrow spiral staircases could be a problem. You should definitely keep that in mind! The cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the rest of the hotel, was absolutely top.The breakfast was reasonably varied and of very good quality. Kudos to the baker who delivered the (whole grain) rolls: they were fantastic! It was a really nice stay and I can only recommend this hotel!

Great hotel with a lot of charm and history. The location is very central in town, the breakfast is 1a, there is nothing missing. The owner runs the hotel with a lot of passion and commitment. Conclusion: highly recommended 👍.P.S.: we were traveling by bike and had the most comfortable bike garage I've ever seen 😀😀😀.

Satisfactory large rooms and great location, but inadequate service. The breakfast was good and sufficient, the location is great and the rooms themselves were OK. Unfortunately, the beds in our group were sagging and the service was brisk rather than appropriate. Our request for stronger coffee was ignored. Unfortunately, shower gel or shampoo was not available in the rooms.

This small listed hotel has a special flair. The furnishings of the rooms are delightful and decorated with attention to detail. Matching the house. I felt transported back to the last century and very comfortable. (only the ghosts were missing - unfortunately we waited in vain)The bathroom is modern, the bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. And for breakfast I could choose what I liked to eat.Unfortunately there is only breakfast at the moment. The landlady is very friendly and helpful.Price for the room was also okay.I would book again.

A very nice, well-run hotel right on the market square. The breakfast buffet is generous and guests can always find homemade jam. The rooms are spacious, tastefully and functionally furnished. …

House with character, very quiet despite its central location. Family atmosphere, the owner is very committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible. Gladly again at any time.
