Overall, we had a good experience here. The property was clean, centrally located, and we felt safe.However, there was a big problem we couldn’t ignore. We intentionally reserved this hotel because they had air conditioning. As we toured around Germany, we were staying places without AC. We wanted to treat ourselves to a nice night sleep with air conditioning during Germany’s hot summer. We were willing to pay the extra money for it.The AC was broken on our floor in the hotel and our 2 rooms were sweltering hot. We couldn’t open our windows and had to sleep and the 4 of us had to sleep the entire night with our two doors open, which made us feel unsafe (See pictures).We realize these things sometimes happen at her hotel, and it’s beyond their control, but what surprised us was that there was no problem-solving. The hotel did to accommodate a whole My floor with this problem.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NoT stay here! We have gold status and they refused to upgrade us. The pillows were not fluffy , we asked for extra ones and an extra blanket. They told us they didn’t have any and if they did they didn’t have housekeeping. So we slept cold! Do Not stay here! Also, when I asked the MANAGER for an upgrade he said we only have 2 basic rooms. We found out they had an extra upgraded room. Good luck if you stay here.

This hotel is not worth the money, avoid this if you can!Breakfast is 20€ and it’s seriously a joke. Rooms are ok, but they can’t even fill shampoo bottles, but are happy to charge you 150/night. Area is also boring.The gym is just one tiny room and overall service is pretty low as well. Rarely seen such a bad Marriott hotel (worldwide).

I had the same experience with the conditions of airflow in the room as the review below. This was literally the worst stay I’ve had in my entire life. We were supposed to stay two nights and the front desk agreed to let us check out a day early for no charge. HOWEVER, I’m still of course battling that fight with Booking and them to see that money. This has been the worst experience ever I don’t recommend. If they ever figure out this credit situation I’ll consider changing my review to two stars, but that is Only because the woman at the front desk was helpful. Side note, the food is terrible and overpriced.I would have rather slept outside it was that bad in our room.

Stayed here while visiting for the Mozartfest. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. The Moxy chain tries to exude a hip vibe but for me it fell a bit flat. The bar/reception area is quite loud and busy, not really the place if you want a quiet nightcap. The decals on the lift mirrors involve a small animal and the caption "I don't give a [bad language]." It's never a good idea to attempt to use a swear word in a foreign language and I felt this was an error in a lift where it was visible to all. The area is a bit uninteresting but the walk to the town (and the station) is pretty short and it is a lot quieter than the central hotel we stayed in last year.

Great location to explore Würzburg. About 20 minutes walk to city center but hotel is quiet and new. Staffing was very friendly and hotel is clean and modern. Prices are moderate.Rooms are Moxy size. Small but efficient.

although the hotel seems to be quiet new it is managed poorly. Dirty walls and elevator speak for themselves. After several weeks and promises the final invoice could not be issued. The room was okay, the bathroom is made cheap and everything is wet due to the fact that the shower is only separated with a curtain. In front of the window the hotel decided to place a big garbage container. So if you only stay for 1 night and you don't need an invoice it might be an ok place.
