The apartments are very quiet, located at the end of the town. You can park on the street directly in front of the entrance. The apartment itself was very nicely decorated. However, there are only windows in one direction, which meant the back of the apartment was a bit dark.

The Berner apartment in the Heidehaus was visited. We wanted to stay here for 4 days, but after a night of terror we left. Completely unacceptable apartment! Musty smell, spiders and their webs everywhere, kitchen without oven and with a hot plate that was hidden in the cupboard, "bedroom" was a niche with a doll's bed, for those or dwarves. The "mattress" couldn't be described as such, soft and like rubber. The shower and toilet were new and good if you are 10 years old and 1.30 m tall. The whole hut was full of useless decorations, so much so that you had to put your own things on the floor. No cell phone reception and WiFi so-so. The apartment was too expensive at €116.47, approx. €116.47...There are also apartments in this Heidehaus that are good and have a real bed and kitchen and are clean! But not the Berner apartment...

The two of us spent a cozy weekend here. The furnishings are super comfortable, but the sofa is unfortunately a bit small. It's somewhat reminiscent of a children's sofa :-))The kitchen design completely exceeded my expectations. You really don't miss anything!Everything is very high quality, including the kitchen appliances such as coffee maker, kettle, toaster etc...The location is absolutely perfect for those seeking peace and quiet! You leave the house and are directly in nature.Absolutely wonderful!

Incredibly many mosquitoes and no protection on the window. So opening it was almost impossible. The shower head was unclean and calcified. So there was hardly any water coming out of it.The facility is otherwise very nicely designed.

Remote quiet location. The room was decorated in a nice combination of rustic and modern. The kitchen was small but adequately equipped. The bathroom was very nice, with a large shower. The bed was soft and big. If you live on the upper floor, you have to climb metal stairs with your dogs (not suitable for everyone). The employees were very nice and easy to reach. There is a bit of a lack of parking spaces.

We cannot understand the reviews here. The apartment we rented should be 30 square meters. Unfortunately, it was left out that the 30 square meters were spread over 3 levels. That was anything but comfortable. There was only half a window available for ventilation, so it smelled musty. The two neighbors only come through their apartments in which they ran across our terrace. Terrace furniture was very worn and didn't invite you to linger. Fly screens for windows and doors, none! Parking in front of the house means you may have to walk 30 meters to the apartment. The stairs to the apartment were slippery and had no railings. Definitely no recommendation!!!

Beautiful apartment in Barum. My girlfriend and I arrived quite late in the evening and for the first twenty minutes we couldn't help but be amazed by the rustic beauty: old beams across the three-story room, a staircase in the middle, a shelf here between the beams and on each floor own typical furniture between country house style and industrial style. Wonderfully equipped kitchen with high-quality Smeg products, open copper pipes - I could go on 😍I can recommend the apartment at any time! There is even a small welcome champagne on the small table upon arrival! :)Also positive: Arrival is possible 24/7 as the key to the apartment is available via a key safe!Thank you for the lovely weekend - you're doing a great job!

Small, cute apartment on 3 floors. Very nicely renovated and equipped with details that are nice and pragmatic. The landlord is accessible to questions and friendly. Great location, quiet, on the edge of the forest. Highly recommended.

Very lovingly furnished accommodation, clean, beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything your heart desires (dishwasher, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, oven, induction hob, ...).It's a shame the vacation was so short.Thank you.

Beautifully restored thatched roof building with modern, half-timbered apartments. The apartments are of different sizes and on the upper floor they are usually wonderfully spread over 2/3 levels. There are also apartments on the ground floor with direct access.Absolute recommendation.About the location:The great GC St. Dionys and the Der Lohn nature reserve are in the immediate vicinity. The village of Barum is easily accessible to the cities of Lüneburg, Winsen, Bad Bevense & Uelzen. Lüneburg in particular, with its medieval old town, is always worth a trip.
