Rooms are Cash ONLY FYI. TEN am is check out time (not 11 like most places). Breakfast is a soft boiled farm egg, breads, fresh made jelly, coffee or tea, store bought juice, a small plate of meats and swiss cheese, and a bit of fresh cheese spread. Our room was #9. We had a lovely view of the river. Friendly host. Very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. I would stay here again. We had dinner at the old mill, just a 10 min walk from this pension. It was excellent I highly recommend it.

Stayed at the guesthouse “Haus am Walde” from Monday to Friday. We had a room on the upper floor with a balcony. The view was great. We could see the Moselle from the side. Otherwise, to the beautifully green mountains. The bed in the room was large and very comfortable. The really big TV rounded things off. The bathroom was also quite large with a window. The blinds were nice, I like it dark (they also kept out some of the heat from the sun). We walked all the hiking trails from the guesthouse. Two very beautiful castles can be easily visited (if you are reasonably fit) without using the car. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time.

It's super clean and extremely cozy! You don't need much to feel comfortable! The location is wonderful. You can sleep really well. Not everything has to be modern and new to feel comfortable. …

The guesthouse is located directly on the dream path. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean and big enough. The balcony offered an outside view of a stream and a street with little traffic. The house was a bit noisy and the furnishings were a few years old, but were still fully functional and, as I said, very clean. I would definitely recommend the guesthouse. And I highly recommend booking breakfast, which you can eat in a house nearby.

For this extremely low price per night, the location alone is great. The building sits in a rustic, slightly elevated position on the edge of the forest, with the Moselle visible from the second floor. The rooms are clean. The bathroom is fine. Everything was beautifully decorated. The service staff in the kitchen is very friendly and open-minded. The breakfast was good. The eggs were just a little too hard ;) but that must have been the case for food hygiene reasons. The parking lot is clear and maintained by an older couple who were happy to provide information. We're thinking about coming back.

A nice little guesthouse where we spent one night during our bike tour. The rooms are lovingly furnished, we slept wonderfully and were woken up in the morning by the smell of fresh coffee and bread rolls. We were very satisfied and can only recommend this guesthouse.

We received what we ordered through Booking. If you can't live without a TV, you should ask if there is one in your room. We enjoyed it without getting along. Had animal distractions on the covered terrace (cats). Drinks are available chilled for a fee. Prices are okay. Room is lovingly furnished. Mattress a little softer than our own, but I slept well, even if the house was noisy. That's just part of it... so we have nothing to complain about!!! Contact with the landlady is friendly and also possible via cell phone. We say thank you and see you soon.

We stayed in this sweet and very individual guesthouse to hike the dream path "Ehrenburg Mountain Gorge Path". The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the room had everything you need, the view of the Moselle in the morning and evening is also worth a star . At the end of our tour we ended up right in front of the front door. The landlady and her lovely team were really attuned to all wishes and a "chat" was possible at any time. The breakfast was great!!! Thank you very much for that!!! We'll definitely be back. Aga and Piet Hops from the Hocht.
