Great location and view. Room with balcony is old and outdated. Washroom is small. There is a big bug inside the room. I couldn’t sleep as I can hear clearly someone snoring from the other room. Dinner Buffet selection needs improvement and food is tasteless.

This is a nightmare hotel. There is mould and suspicious substances everywhere. The rooms are tiny and outdated. If you get carpet then there are entire ecosystems of bacteria living in there. The food made multiple people in the tour group sick. Also icing on the cake was there was no hot water in the entire hotel. If I could give negative stars I would. Stay here at your own risk.

Old fashion room without any extra. No kettle or mini fridge. No ac and hard bed. Bed lamp broken. Fire alarm went off twice during stay. Bad luck obviously but stairs up and down from 14th floor without any compensation is not great. Great view though!

The rooms were ok, clean and the bathrooms were good and renovated. The rest of the building and especially the carpets could use a renewal. Some parts of the building still have a charm of the 90s.The food was good and the service was really great.

Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I've been traveling the world for 15 years and I've never been kicked out of the breakfast area not exactly the moment they closed.I had gotten there 15 minutes before they closed and was taking my time having a croissant and some marmalade with a coffee.I had my food before they closed and I was just taking my time and looking outside and enjoying the space. The manager came over and asked me to leave. I asked if I could just finish my breakfast and he said that I would have to leave. So I took my breakfast and put it into a napkin and then he told me that I could not take a doggy bag although he had just asked me to leave.I asked him repeatedly if I could just sit there because I was not disturbing anyone and just finished my breakfast and he said that I needed to leave. He said that since he was being rude to me that he would allow me to keep the breakfast I had put into my napkin. Thanks a lot

Food is good and the bar staff member was very helpful. However when having dinner on 20/05/24 ,I was extremely disappointed with one of your staff member there. The tables at dinner time were almost full so I sat where it was more convenient as I assumed it was ok. This male staff waiter with long hair had embarrassed me by YELLING saying THIS TABLE IS FOR BREAKFAST TIME YOU NEED TO GET UP AND MOVE. I looked at him and replied well I didn't know all the tables look the same . There was no reserve sign no signs to say do not sit at all the empty tables.I did not appreciate the abrupt disgusting un professional manner the way he spoke. I am 56 and he should be taught how to treat guest's as we are the people that pay his wage. He looked like he did not want to be there because when taking plates off the table he was dropping them heavily and everyone was looking at him as it was quite loud. Perhaps he needs to find another job as I have never seen such behaviour from an angry waiter. There was no way I would give a person like that a tip for the unpleasant outcome and many people from our tour said the same about him. I did not deserve to be treated like that as it's the reviews people read makes them decide the outcome of your hotel if stay. From another review I read I can see that it mentions about staff being rude so I guess you have people that need to be spoken to and show them about manners or get new staff that can be kind and helpful to your guests. Other staff members were very kind but the male waiter with long hairShame on him and sad he gives your hotel a bad name

There is angry, rude Pakistani bartender that works at the bar. He was upset that we called him "sir", refused to make certain drinks and got extremely mad when a portable lamp was removed from a common area. He was possibly racist towards Americans as well.Hotel had a nice view high on the hill.

I was visiting a congres there. Like a lot of things in Germany, this hotel has seen better days. Everything is slowly disintegrating and needs refurbishment. The staff however was nice and friendly!

Stayed here as part of a guided tour group and was taken back by my wife and I's room on the 14th floor. We had an incredible view of the Rhine Valley. The craftsmanship and decor is like sophisticated/simple modern. Lots of wood incorporation. Bed was really comfortable and just have to ask for a iron/extra pillows if needed. The hotel was making a Wi-Fi upgrade so there was no access for the lone night we were staying for, but that was not much of a hassle. It has a great restaurant and bar too.

I'm writing this for my 73 year old mother who is not very adept with computers and such, but these are her own words, in addition some pictures. They (my mother and a friend) arrived a bit early, they knew this and wanted to perhaps have a drink in the restaurant. They were asked by to leave the hotel....They eventually got a room on the 9th floor, where every other room on the 9th was in the phase of renovation.Their own room smelled of chemicals and wasn't very clean.Because of the chemical smell they were given another room, nr 304, which was very old, and also had no curtains... Which her travel companion hung up himself.During their stay there was a fire alarm, and my 73-year old mother had to walk down the stairs, even though she is partially an invalid. One day there was also no water in the hotel and they had to use an external toilet downstairs, outside.....The buffet was also not warm and there for quite some time. The hotel has some paintings that fit nicely in a horrormovie.Everything that can go wrong on a holiday .... happens in this hotel, with rude staff, bad food, construction, a fire alarm, no water, and peeing outside in a chemical toilet. At least the elevator worked,
