No breakfast!!! Dirty bed sheets, broken windows and heating. Mold in the bathroom. No hairdryer in the room despite the description. And really expensive. Never again!Important: Location Gewolkekelker has nothing to do with the hotel and is really recommended. Greetings to the boss.

Contrary to most reviews, I have to say that you really get something for your money. Of course it's not a 5 star hotel, but that should be clear to you when you book it. It was more of a B&B hotel, which means we didn't meet a single person, but everything worked out great. You will be sent the code for the key compartment (although only after requesting it), which also works. The room is well equipped, the bathroom was huge and in the room you will find a TV, two cups, instant coffee and a kettle.Otherwise the room was very clean, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner.Overall, I can highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a cheap hotel in the immediate vicinity of Mainz.

Very cozy, quiet hotel. We rode our bikes, spent one night there and really can't complain about anything. The reservation was made the day before by phone, quickly and easily. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

Unfortunately I only have to give this accommodation two stars because I felt very uncomfortable. It started with the fact that we really didn't see anyone when we arrived. The hotel's phone number was unavailable. We dialed the emergency voicemail number. That's a tough one. The owner came a few minutes later and gave us the key to the room. The room was clean, the bed was neatly made. There were towels in the bathroom.Unfortunately the TV didn't work, the carpet had stains and tripping hazards (creases). The entire hotel appears unkempt inside, as there were many spider webs, the paint is peeling off almost everywhere and the rooms have very old furnishings. There is quite a lot of display outside. It seems a bit like “Messis”.It was clear from the exhibitors that weddings can also be celebrated here - I personally wouldn't recommend it.The area around the hotel is quite dark and the streets are narrow. There are some parking options and a gas station nearby. There is no option for breakfast. The key is also returned anonymously. You just put it somewhere. This hotel is ideal for people who have a low travel budget. Not recommended for anyone else.

Seriously what was that? The 1 star is only given for the Rhine on the doorstep. The owners are completely clueless and have zero interest in the guests. It would be cheeky to call this a hotel. However, the room was clean.Still, the whole thing had more of a backyard Puff Vybe feel to it.I strongly advise operators to change industries or emigrate to Thailand

The woman was completely happy. That's the most important thing to me.It was clean. The shower is nice and the sanitary facilities are in order. The building is old, and the carpeting could indeed be done something about, but it is not disturbing to me. Especially considering the low price. The towels were soft and snow white. The bed excellent.Thank you.

Romantic hotel with organizational problems...The facility seemed a bit run down, but the rooms were ok and clean. Checking in only works to a limited extent. You will receive an email with a door code, but you should ONLY check in between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The problem is that the code is not sent automatically but only when requested by telephone via the emergency number. Urgently needs to be better organized!! Otherwise not bad

Disappointing.- Very limited parking options or a paid parking lot 5 minutes walk away- I couldn't spend the first night in the room I had actually booked because the cleaning service apparently delivered the wrong bed sheet size- TV didn't work for the entire stay (supposedly the provider's fault)- Both bedside lamps were broken, one of them was patched together with adhesive tape- Doorknob of the room entrance door was also broken and attached with adhesive tape. Which didn't help at all, I still almost pulled the knob out of the door every time- Shower cubicle had significant limescale residue- the “reception” was almost never staffed. Operator could NOT be reached by phone (neither mobile nor landline)- WiFi, very weak signal strength+ Cheap+ Not too far from the center

Incomprehensible! Test results are randomly requested here! Nowhere on the website did it say anything about checking in due to testing requirements. 40 minutes before check-in time I received a call that I had to take a test, even though these requirements no longer applied! After I sent a self-test certificate from a test at DM, the lady said that these would not be accepted and that I could only check in until 7 p.m. High-level, arbitrary harassment that leaves you simply at a loss for words. I really hate to not write good reviews, it's only very appropriate here because of this blatant behavior!Luckily the room itself was fine, hence the 2nd star.

It's a small hotel that needs renovation here and there, the cleanliness isn't particularly good either, the shower cubicle was moldy in the bathroom you can't open the window at the front door you stand for ages before you can open it with the key. The positive thing is that you have WiFi and a TV, but that's also available elsewhere...
