This has had to be the warmest welcome I have ever had. The hotel rooms are really big, the mattresses could be a bit harder. But hey, personal preference. Breakfast was great. And if you’re in the region, a nice cozy place to stay. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely break. Frank was most welcoming and helpful with recommendations of where to eat and visit,the room with a balcony was spacious and the breakfast superb. Parking wasn't an issue. We were blessed with great weather.

From the warm welcome, the spacious rooms and the wonderful breakfast, it was a very nice stay with the Roth family. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. Great restaurants, starting from Restaurant Schneider or the Dernbacher Haus in town, many other very good restaurants on the wine route can be reached quickly. The wineries around Landau are so numerous because of the high quality of their wines that you don't even know where to go first.Frank Roth is happy to provide advice and support to express his enthusiasm for his homeland with his typical southern Palatinate dialect.We felt completely at home in the Hotel Dernbachtal

We spent five relaxing days at the Hotel Dernbachtal and felt very comfortable. Our room was spacious and cozy, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the self-service drinks fridge was extremely practical. The quiet, tranquil location of the hotel with a view over the Dernbachtal is ideal for hikes and excursions in the surrounding area. However, we would particularly like to emphasize the warm hospitality of the Rot family. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!!!
