If you love peace and quiet, this is absolutely the right place for you. The hotel is in the style of the 50s. But the rooms are not worn out. The mattresses are very comfortable. Breakfast is available in the hotel. Drinks are offered in glass bottles for the room. There is no restaurant in town. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking. Motorcyclists are also welcome.

Friendly welcome. Reasonable room, beds mediocre. No dinner possible. Reasonable breakfast. Reasonable price-quality ratio.

Guesthouse is getting old, which doesn't bother me personally. However, I don't see any true hospitality in the actions and actions of the operating couple, which should be the top priority for a service provider.According to information from the operator over the telephone, there was no possibility of providing a front door key for a later arrival (in my opinion, a key box or simply placing it under a flower pot would have been possible; common practice in all other guesthouses/hotels, these should not already be open anyway the amount of time (i.e. being able to assign a door code)).So I was forced to pick up the key in advance with a considerable detour or an extra trip at an earlier hour.Anyone who sees the "peaceful" surroundings and in particular the countless "flower pots" where keys can be hidden will feel like a fool.In addition, only cash payment is possible (2024! Where do we live??).Check out 10:30am (my arrival was at 4am...). Upon request, it was not possible to return the room later.Breakfast poor.Resume:Obviously a discontinued model, whereby money is only to be extracted until the exodus without any further effort (in service and maintenance of the building/equipment) (exclusively cash payment also makes connoisseurs look deeply...).See picture in the attachment: Guest entrance area of the “hotel”.Despite everything, the external condition of the house and the furnishings/inventory from the 70s to 90s could have left a (positive) morbid charm on me.However, I am allergic to selfish miserliness coupled with being taken for a fool.

Very friendly innkeepers who, in our opinion, are very interested in the well-being of their guests. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the service is extremely customer-oriented and friendly. The house is rural and has its history, you should like that. If you're expecting a state-of-the-art architectural hotel in a city center, you've probably booked the wrong one.We live a plant-based life and without expecting it, people bought the food especially for us, but we just wanted to know whether it was okay if we brought the appropriate food with us. This level of commitment is rare and is appreciated accordingly. We felt really comfortable, thank you for this nice, short stay.

The Waldhotel Heller is a good, small guesthouse. The house and the immediate surroundings are a bit old, but the rooms and the dining room are clean and nicely decorated. However, the rooms are not very large. …

After decades in the "extra-Palatinate diaspora", we spent a weekend here in the vicinity of our old homeland and celebrated a milestone birthday together with other family members (twelve of us). …

It is very quiet and a little secluded. The rooms are very clean and tidy, but furnished in a somewhat dated manner. There are only 13 channels available and not even the standard channels. 😑
