Stayed as part of a last minute decision on our way through the beautiful Weinstrasse. The owner was kind enough to hide a key so we could get into the room despite our arrival past midnight. …

The hotel had a charming ambiance as I understand that it is an ancient winery. The rooms and clean and tidy, and the stay is reasonably priced. The breakfasts are ample and complete. The owner himself was a cheery fellow, and he worked diligently to meet every one of our requests. In short, this facility was perfect for my family's 5-day stay in the Landau area.

Nicely decorated and meticulously maintained boutique hotel. Lovely rooms, with Tassimo coffee machine, mini bar and importantly a very comfortable bed. No restaurant but there are several pretty good ones within a 5 - 10 minute drive. Breakfast was also very good with the usual options plus a few surprises. If you want an egg they will cook it for you. Very reasonable prices too so highly recommended.

We stopped here on our way from Austria back to the UK. We found it on booking.com and were delighted with it when we got to it. Everything is of a high standard (Tassimo coffee maker in the room) and the breakfast is excellent (the scrambled egg is like a frittata)! Really recommend it.

Hotel Villa Konigsgarten was the chosen overnight stop on one of our regular journeys to Mittenwald Bavaria. We were met by the owners’ mother who made us feel very welcome.  …

A beautiful hotel, with a great restaurant and a fantastic wine list in the middle of nowhere is a real find. The room was spacious, modern but most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were the most helpful and made us feel special. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet weekend in the country or as a stop onto the German Wine Route (the Palatinate wines are real show stoppers!!!).

This is a nice place to stay. Breakfast is great with lots of food to choose from. Try to book a room away from the road, because it can be quite noisy. Unfortunately their restaurant is under construction. Not many option in town.
