Try to check in but after a half an our still no one there. No came on the telephone not even a letter to call someone else. So we had to find another hotel instead.

The food is excellent. Freshly prepared with great attention to detail and quality in every respect. Inside, the small restaurant is very cozy and warmly decorated. Outside you can eat in a cozy, wonderful outdoor setting. A special feature is the gluten-free food. No wish remains unfulfilled here. e.g. b All dishes are also gluten-free, even the dumplings, sauces and desserts. Delicious fresh gluten-free waffles with vanilla ice cream with pears and chocolate sauce. A real insider tip! Also ideal for family celebrations!

I would only like to rate the restaurant as I was only a guest there, so no rating of the rooms. Beautiful garden in a quiet location. Large umbrellas provide enough shade. Very good wine list, as you would expect from the attached winery. Very attentive and friendly service and excellent food from a small menu, where seasonal dishes such as the asparagus season are continually added.

The hotel is located in the commercial area of Freinsheim, our windows faced the street and it was quite loud at times in the morning. The breakfast is very good, the service is incredibly friendly. We had booked an arrangement, which the house couldn't quite manage due to a wine festival that was currently taking place. We had the impression that things were a bit confusing and that we as guests were falling behind us. That failed because of the welcome drink. However, we agreed without any complications to stay overnight in the hotel for a normal week and felt quite comfortable. The dinner was very tasty. But the service wasn't necessarily flexible when it came to releasing free tables in the restaurant. The wine also tasted very good, the weather was great, we had a great time.

Very good family-run 3 star hotel on the edge of the old town (a little bit out of the way) with a very nice garden. The restaurant belongs to the hotel of the same name but is structurally detached from it in the garden with its own entrance. There is also a very good breakfast for hotel guests. We were here twice for dinner with a larger group and everyone really enjoyed it and, of course, enjoyed it. If there is game - definitely try it. Their own wines are also delicious. The service is very attentive and friendly. Clear recommendation.
