The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English.  …

Hotel has an uninterrupted view of the lake which was why we booked the room. If budget allows make sure book one of the panorama rooms with a balcony. Absolutely stunning view especially with sunset. …

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Professional and friendly service, confortable and clean room and bathroom, lovely views close to the lake, amenities mostly walking distance from hotel, tasty breakfast with plenty variety. The only complaint is the shower curtain which sticks to the body when the steam rises from the hot water. The washbasin is also small to wash one's face in.Definetely worth another visit.Highly recommended!

We had hopf beer and vegetarisch spinatknodel from the menu. The location in front of the tegernsee was perfect to have a lunch meal. The servers were really nice and the food was delicious as well. I'd have liked to have more vegetarian options on the menu. PS : any card is only accepted if you have bill for more than 25 euros, otherwise they take cash so keep that in mind. Would definitely cone back here when I visit Tegernsee again.

The hotel and restaurant service is fine. The room and bathroom are beautiful, but without exaggerating, I have never slept on a mattress in a hotel so bad that you can feel the slats of the bed frame. Even if I ran a one star motel I would be embarrassed to offer a bed like this.

I am a regular in Tegernsee and always stay at Ledererhof however it is currently closed for renovations and fond myself in the Seehotel as a result. It was comfortable and clean but nothing more than that. …

We did not stay at this hotel but had lunch. The waitress was nice but not really switched on. We had to ask for cutlery and 2nd glas. The food was rather too expensive, considering the quality of it. We were pretty surprised to see that we were charged 6,50€ for a dumpling with some sauce (Semmelknödel mit Sauce) while a portion of red cabbage (Blaukraut) was 3,50 €. Even in Munich in one of the more expensive Bavarian restaurants we have not paid more than 3,50 € per portion. We are definitely not going there again and only went because ARAN (opposite of this one) was too full. No surprise really.

Nice place for lunch with a view to the sea. The food and service was good. We really liked the desserts besides the food.
