Wonderful little boutique hotel! Rooms are named, not numbered. Artfully decorated to the smallest detail. Comfortable bed, & a real fresh flower in a small vase of water in the bathroom, and not only a hair dryer (with attachments), but a flat iron too! The front desk staff were very nice. Highly recommend! The only negative was the door toThe bathroom was glass and my husband forgot it was closed and ran right into it! I safety hazard, I think. I suggested to the front desk that they put stickers (I’m sure they can find artsy ones) on the glass at eye level. An other couple checking out agreed. Also as an older builder, the did the best they could with the lift, so it’s not aligned with each floor, you might have to go up or down a few stairs, but I’ve had that in other European hotels.

The Room We booked was great, It was clean and bathroom also.Loved the bed and the themes. But the Tv is unusable as it's located wrong maybe if it was on a swing arm ;)The biggest error of the hotel is the sound. the doors bang like TNT. and the drunk guests make a lot of noise in the stairways.Thats why we would not return anymore to much loud sounds

We had a lovely stay here. The artistic concept of the hotel is very fun and creative, it is lovely to celebrate art in this way. Equally, we found the rooms were also very comfortable and well equipped - great shower, lovely tea selection, the attention to detail was very thoughtful. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the booking process was straightforward (recommend booking on their website, as it is fun to choose your room and you could also pick mattress firmness).

The good: The staff were quite friendly, and the area around the hotel was walkable. Many of the sites were within a 20-30 minute walk. The bad: The room was ok, it was quite dusty, and the layout wasn't the best. The room we had was right by the main stairwell, which was ridiculously noisy. The door to get in the hotel has a loud buzzer when someone opens ot which makes sleeping impossible. The room was right above a bar, so extra noise didn't help the cause either. The concept of individually designed rooms was neat, but there are so many items we didn't need that just took up space. The amenities were ok, but nothing great.Overall, the price to performance was not up to par. The noise prevented us from sleeping, and the room was quite dusty.

Small cute hotel. Love the different rooms with artsy ambience, the reception likewise! Super friendly staff. Breakfast is pretty good. Close to several bars and 10-15 min walk from Köln train station.

The hotel staffs are very nice but the room was in poor condition. The room looked very cute at first but it's very tiny, uncomfortable bed and broken closet. There is no AC in the rooms so we slept with the window open and it was very loud as there are multiple clubs/bars on the same street. There was no elevators, so it was very inconvenient to carry multiple luggages on the 3rd floor using the narrow stairs.

Stayed at the 18Arts hotel for just shy of a week and the service was amazing, we had a few mishaps with our room and they were super accomodating with fixing the issues and even moving us to a new room! Both rooms we got to test out were very comfortable!

We've had a very nice stay in the Kissenslacht room, which was well equipped and comfortable. The hotel staff members were all very nice, breakfast offered a broad variety of standard products, and the services were all perfect. At the end of the stay, we forgot some belongings in the room, and the hotel staff agreed to ship them back.Very nice experience!

Best place to start your tour in Cologne from! The staff are friendly, privacy is respected, prices are a bit high but reasonable. WIFI could be better. We asked for one big blanket for two (a couple) instead of two single blankets, but there was not; this was the only one issue we had during our weekend staying.
