Great place to stay. The hostess didn't speak English and I cant speak German but with the help of another very friendly guest, we got on just fine! Homely, friendly and suitable attentive.Great location not far from the autobahn. I flew to Dresden for business in Nuremberg so this was about halfway and it worked well.Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Room was well appointed, desk to work at, Wi-Fi included, sparkling clean ensuite, excellent shower, comfortable bed and pillows.The decor is quite quaint and vintage - there's a lot of things to spot, including chilled still and sparkling water on tap.Food....now, this is another story altogether!! How does a small village hotel produce such amazing meals!?!! Whatever you do, do NOT come here less than ravenous as the meals are exquisite and the portions exceedingly generous!! Oh, and by the way, all delivered by a 'robot' waiter! Buffet style breakfast with a fantastic selection of cold and hot.Absolutely 100/100.

We were able to experience a 6-course menu in the wine cellar here for our anniversary as a couple and were absolutely thrilled.The food served was absolutely top-notch in terms of taste.Even things that you personally don't like were interpreted so differently here that you were amazed at what you can conjure up from some foods.The service was also very courteous and friendly and the ambience is unparalleled far and wide.It's definitely not the last time we've been here and we highly recommend this location.

Beautiful hotel furnished with great attention to detail. The room was very comfortably furnished, we slept very well. The candle light dinner was very tasty and the breakfast in bed the next morning was beautifully prepared and had something for everyone. Thank you for the unique weekend.

This is the second time we've been to the event & wedding hotel and what can I say, it's just really great 😍We had booked a candlelight dinner + room...the food is very tasty and prepared with a lot of love. The service was very courteous and everything in a family atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and furnished with attention to detail. I can really only recommend it! It definitely wasn't our last visit 😊
