This simple family hotel-restaurant is like a dream. It's along a small road that we were driving to Brno in Czech republic. But it's worth driving here just for this place. …

The restaurant itself has a beautiful view into the Flöha river valley, and the food is very good. Unfortunately waiting times are extremely long, already known by the locals. The staff was extremely unfriendly, does not inspire me to go back to that place.

We were at the Falkenhöhe restaurant for our 13th wedding anniversary and would like to praise the hospitality, the service and the price-performance ratio. The restaurant is very cozy, you can feel very comfortable on the terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. Food very tasty. All in all, a well-rounded experience and highly recommended. Gladly again🤩.

This review only concerns the restaurant. We have been to this restaurant several times (over a longer period of time) and have always been very satisfied. However, that was a while ago and when we were there in August, we unfortunately realized that it wasn't that nice anymore. We had a table on the terrace, but unfortunately it was against the wall and not on the railing, where you have a wonderful view. Back then there were only tables on the railing, but now tables have been "squashed against the wall" where you no longer have a special view. We would have accepted that, but then we waited 70 (!) minutes for our food. Unfortunately, the overall friendliness of the service staff left a lot to be desired. When I noticed that the waiting time was unfortunately very long (in a friendly tone), I received the short, unfriendly answer: "We only have one cook"... that was it, no apology, nothing. You could also point out in advance that there are long waiting times. Unfortunately that wasn't the case either. And - to be honest - the food was okay, but nothing more. So we were more than disappointed all around. It's a shame, we actually always enjoyed being there. But we won't be coming back anymore, so it's no fun... we can't recommend it anymore...
