Rural inn where you don't necessarily pass by by chance,with fast and attentive service and really good food.Diverse selection of schnitzels, burgers, steak and cream puffs, there is something for every taste.The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is good.Absolutely recommended if you are in the area.Keep it up, we’ll be happy to come back 😋Be sure to make a reservation, there is a lot going on especially at the weekend, which speaks for the restaurant 👍🏻

We would have liked to eat something. ☹ But the new innkeepers didn't think it was necessary to open their restaurant (11 a.m.). There were several guests at the door. A call was not answered. We then left around 11:15 am. Unfortunately, it reflects the problem of our society today. Very unfortunate. Germany is a service desert 😒😖😣

Seven of us had lunch and it was very tasty and really inexpensive, both in terms of drinks and dishes. Portions are large and freshly prepared, and the service by two young service staff was very attentive and friendly. We didn't have to wait too long either. All in all, highly recommended!

We ate here with very dear people for our wedding anniversary. Delicious. Everything is just right. Price performance service food taste friendliness and and and. We'd love to come back.

My husband and I decided to have dinner in the garden restaurant today for the first time since the change of ownership.We were served very friendly and politely by two young waiters.The food was great and the prices were OK for today's times.We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.Thank you that country restaurants like this still exist...Keep it up...

Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations as praised in the reviews here.The food was way too cold and too spicy.It's actually a shame for such a beautiful inn.

Now it was finally time. We dined at the Gasthof Taupadel. After a change of ownership and some renovations, we are now working for us again. So called and reserved a spot. Of course we lingered and dined outside in the beautiful beer garden in the best weather. The service staff is still quite young. At least on the day we were there. Drinks and food came. And enjoyed it. We ate our way through a few schnitzel variations. Of course, the next time you visit it will be the burgers. And at some point the roulade. Which I will of course test with my very critical jury 😁😉🤣! (Yes, we somehow try the roulade in every restaurant and are actually still looking for the very best one in the country!) So we liked it. The card is decent. Something for everyone. OK, I missed the asparagus. In any case, we'll come back again. PS: a few parasols in the garden would be nice. / And calling and making a reservation in advance is an advantage. Because the inn is very well attended. Have fun and enjoy it.
