Was here for two nights. We couldn't go out to eat in the evening on Monday because everything in the resort/hotel kitchen was closed. Otherwise the hotel is recommended. Delicious breakfast, right under a castle, lots of walking options.The restaurant has its own hall cat😉.Evening food is good, tastes good and fills you up.

We celebrated a big birthday today and were very well provided with food and drinks at the Hotel “Zur Burg” in Posterstein. Thanks to the entire team. We felt very comfortable all around and can only recommend this hotel. We would be happy to come back and look forward to a next visit.

Small but nice and well-kept hotel. We had a big family party. The preliminary meeting in February convinced us about the hotel and its boss and crew. The suggestions for the process, menu and leisure activities from the boss himself showed us that experts are at work here. The rooms are lovingly furnished and clean. The party itself was well prepared, from the coffee to the evening menu and DJ. The food was fresh, tasty and well prepared. The service was excellent from early until late at night - despite three parties taking place at the same time. It was clear to the employees that they enjoyed working here. It was an all around great party.

We celebrated our wedding at this hotel and it was the best decision we could have made. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Mr. Illgen responded to all of our wishes and ideas, but was also available to give advice and recommendations. The food is excellent. We have had dinner here several times and without exception, everything has always tasted excellent. Thank you for everything!!
