Enjoyed the stay, friendly staff, the food especially fish and lamb, good. A little hidden rather than out of the way, so check the GPS for the exact location.

We had a 4-star dinner in the restaurant through an arrangement from MyDays. The food was delicious, especially the salad and the honey mustard dressing that went with it. My wife was so excited about the dressing that she asked for some to take home. The service is very friendly and quick. We would love to come back and recommend it to the family.

After a sightseeing flight, we also had this candlelight dinner in a country inn near the airfield. We sat with about 6 other couples in a nice, specially prepared room separate from the normal guest room. It was nicely furnished, but we sat so close together that we could always follow the conversations from the tables next to us, since otherwise it was extremely quiet. That was a bit uncomfortable. The price of the meal as a supplement to the flight is €100 excluding drinks! So we went there with high expectations for a great meal. There were four courses prepared with love but not with high-quality ingredients. Overall, for €100 it was far too little for us and the taste was average at best. There was a salad from a bag with half a slice of Katen ham, Four Champions and a melon ball and a tiny piece of bread.Afterwards there was half a cup of thin tomato soup, which tasted fine. Then four small slices of meat with flavorless noodles that were supposed to be filled with chanterelles. You didn't taste any of it. The meat was excellent, but unfortunately far too little. I had to eat the last three pieces of meat dry without sauce because there was only a spoonful of sauce on the plate. The noodles also had to be eaten dry. But there was a basil leaf and half a small dry tomato on the plate. For dessert there was rock-hard chocolate ice cream from the freezer with a dollop of chocolate mousse and artificial vanilla sauce. When the very friendly waitress asked us whether we were satisfied, we truthfully answered “No”. We said that for €100 it was far too little for us. She dismissed it and said other people would see it differently. To avoid this, you can ask during the menu whether something should be served later, that would be my tip.For this menu, I recommend everyone to have a good breakfast, lunch and coffee and cake, otherwise you won't be full! This meal after the flight is certainly a nice idea and will certainly bring many guests to the inn. But the price of €100 for the meal is far from reasonable. In the entrance area there was a sign with great chanterelle dishes. I would have expected something seasonal like that too. A nice steak with lots of chanterelles. A salad with chanterelles, a chanterelle soup and maybe a delicious ice cream for dessert. I would have found that acceptable for €100. But we definitely won't be coming back like this.

A nice reason to visit a restaurant! We visited the restaurant one morning at the end of September for my brother and his wife's golden wedding anniversary. I had heard of the Hotel Lindenhof in Heist before, but hadn't visited it myself. In advance, I really liked it!The women who served us walked a few kilometers for us that day. But always attentive and very friendly. As they told us, a large party came that evening. kilometers? For me, the special highlight of the dishes served that day was the dessert. The chocolate mousse - an absolute dream! My wish was granted and I was served another portion. Simply delicious in combination with a cappuccino. If you like chocolate, you should definitely order a “mousse au chocolat” there.I would like to visit the Hotel Lindenhof again soon. I'll go eat there and indulge in dessert. I'm looking forward to it :)
