Very cute sleeping barrels with enough space. You can take care of yourself completely. Utensils and equipment are provided. Washing clothes is also possible for an additional charge. Nice hosts.

Comfortable and practical place for a short vacation similar to a camp.It is not suitable for people in wheelchairs due to the shape of the bed and not suitable for people with claustrophobia or who are bothered by the sound of the trees when there is a breeze or rain hitting the wooden ceiling.I loved the ventilation and comfort, apart from everything you need in the bathroom as well as in the kitchen.Excellent plan

Go on vacation and relax.It wasn't any different for me either, or maybe it was?Going on holiday by bike is very trendy. A long-cherished wish of mine: A bike tour lasting several days in Schleswig-Holstein. I have now fulfilled this. I then had the opportunity to spend a great night without being fancy. The trip was perfect for me in this place!When I arrived I was able to briefly meet the owner. A very likeable and natural woman who also enjoys cycling.The sleeping barrels are located just outside, about 1.5 km from the town center. The entire facility and the sleeping barrels make a very well-kept impression. There is passion in the furnishings of the sleeping barrels, which you can see in the little things. The windows in the barrels not only have curtains, but also roller blinds, making them completely opaque. There is a small hand lantern with a removable flashlight to help you get to the sanitary facility at night. Electricity connection and lighting in the barrels included. The mattresses are not worn out like they often are. There is an information sheet with tips for self-catering. There are tables and chairs in front of the sleeping barrel. When you sit there, you can hear the splashing of the pond in front of it :) There is also a shelter protected from wind and rainIf I have the opportunity in the future, I will definitely stay there again. It was very nice!PS: When I arrived the postman was just arriving. And I think the dog was already looking forward to it :) Wonderful!

The sleeping barrels are very comfortable.A piece of nature simply with the swimming pond and the birds chirping.In the lounge there is a great washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, toaster and microwaveWould love to come back

Very nice overnight idea.The barrels are super comfortable and enough for 2 people. Very beautifully landscaped garden and everything you need is in the lounge. Very nice hosts, just a nice atmosphere.

We stayed in the holiday apartment in the house, which is very nice.The landlady is a very warm person.Very nice location, but be sure to bring something to eat with you or if you have a motor, you can eat well in Burg.

The family was very friendly and accommodating from the very first moment and were always happy to answer any questions we had.The sleeping barrel is a good and new experience/challenge for everyone.There is no specific place for smokers, but the landlords don't like it if you smoke directly at the barrel because for non-smokers it smells like smoke in the barrel. Just do it like we did: take a small ashtray with you and stand behind it Barrel on the gravel path to smoke.The swimming pond is a real challenge for those with frostbite, but once you go in it's really cool to cool off, especially on warm days.I recommend the sleeping barrel to anyone who wants to relax a bit.
